Chapter five.
immediately after they both finished praying, A blond, young beautiful lady of about Alina's age, wearing a blue kneel gown, with heavy makeup on came out of the restroom…. With her air and style, she looks no less than a fashion model.
She snapped her fingers while heading in Leo and Alina's direction...
All eyes were on her, as she walked along the row of seats. some couldn't even take their eyes off her...some young men began to secretly fantasize about her.
she seems to be one of those rich spoiled brats it's a big wonder what's she doing here.
Though the scholarship was to help the less privileged but not the rich, the rich will always find one or two ways to benefit from it...
“gosh! just take a look at the way they are all staring at her...As if she's one kind beauty goddess or sort…..”
Alina kept mumbling to herself and likewise making faces... She looked towards Leo to see his reaction, whether he was also engrossed in the walking star. However, Leos's attention was not even there.
Alina turns back to stare at her front. One particular thing that amazes her about Leo is that he hardly gets carried away...in looking at beauties. “I wonder if he is made of wood.” She mumbled.
the girl stopped in front of Alina and said. "excuse me, lady, you’re seating on my seat..”
Alina soon snap out of her thought when she heard the voice, in her mind she said. “oh my, it's the beauty goddess. Am even seating in her seat. how come I didn't notice until now. she will definitely ask me to leave her seat.”
"Hey, can u hear me!.” The rich girl said with authority in a raised voice.
“ Oops sorry, I was distracted.”
Alina mentioned and quietly moved to the next seat.
“ What a relief.” the young lady was excited. Shat next to lip and sipped water from a fancy water bottle.
“hollow mister,” she said to Leo but Leo seemed to not hear her, she used her hand to wave in front of his face but still Leo didn't utter a single word.
After that, she seems to have gained a particular interest in Leo... He was the only one who ignored her when she came here. This made him stand out from everyone and there was this aura around him and his composure ...
she turned and have a clear look at Leo.
"Hello, my name is mara, Montes. I guess you are also going for the scholarship exams..” this time she said with a polite and inviting voice that will make anyone give her attention.
She further went on in asking him to introduce himself but Still, there was not any single response from Leo, nor did he even turn to look at her, not for once...
“ wow!” mara was shocked to her surprise. “ how can this cute boy be deaf and dumb .... what a pity.” mara kept mumbling to herself. Under thought that this cute boy or anyone for that matter will not be able to ignore her advance in their normal sense.
“ No, I don't think his what am thinking. Besides he didn't look like those that are deaf and dumb.” She mumbled again after taking a few more glances at Leo.
“Perhaps he didn't understand me earlier, let me give it a try one more time…..Beside no guy ever dare to turn me down..” mara flaunts her hands.
“I am mara Montes the queen among the queens…….aham.”
mara cleared her throat. "Hey, my name is mara Montes, and yours ...”
In the middle of her speech, Leo turned and glared at her with emotionless eyes then tuned away in disregard.
mara noticed the look on his face.
“Ohh my what is wrong with this blind i***t, could it be that he's angry or what...maybe my approach was rather too rude....”
“let's try this.”
“Hey what's your name”
Mara asked with a warm smile on her face hoping for an answer this time around but it was still the same.
Alina sitting behind them, couldn't hold herself any longer, she burst out in silent laughter.
“ wow this rich girl, is just too much. She looks too bad right now, it’s too embarrassing to watch, let me just help her out a little….
“hay dear, his name is Leonardo Montenegro, and he's also going for the scholarship exams...”
Mara turned to her with an angry expression.
“oops sorry if I offend you but I can no longer stand it, hope all your questions have been answered..”
Alina smirked and got back to her seat.
“you, If I could remember, I wasn't talking to you so why did you have to interfere, are you perhaps his mouthpiece ....”
“Wow, wow, wow...miss mara or whatever you call yourself, you should be grateful to me for answering all your questions but why does it seem like it's the other way round now...” Alina answered her feeling a little unhappy whit her remarks.
“Gosh!, I should be Grateful you said after you impolitely interrupted me when I wasn't even talking to you ...?.”
“ You know what lady, you should learn how to mind your business, ok…”Mara was so annoyed.
Alina smiled mischievously after seeing her worked-up expression. Now she knew that it was useless arguing with someone to mara.
“well am not in the mood for any of your tantrums….” Alina said as she turned her face away.
Leo turned and look at them, he shakes his head and continue with what he was doing...
