Chapter 11: The Battle

**Levi's POV**

I knocked on Erwin's door and entered.

"What?" I sat on the chair opposite Erwin.

"You know that we have to hand Eren over to the Military Police right?" Erwin's eyes turned serious.

"Yeah."

"They don't only want Eren."

"What do yo--"

"They want (y/n) too."

"WHAT?!?" I slammed his desk and stood up.

"The Military Police don't trust you in handling her."

"No. I won't let them have her. Not my

(y/n). I won't even let them lay a finger on her!"

"I figured you'd say that. Thats why, I created a plan."

**Y/N's POV**

Levi led you to his office and you sat opposite him,his eyes locked onto yours. His eyes were dark and cold yet beautiful. You enjoyed his gaze when suddenly a knock broke the silence.

"You wanted to see me? Heichou?" Eren asked as he sat next to you.

"Yes. Before we hand you & (y/n) to the Military police, I want you to listen to Erwin's plan."

"A plan?" You tilted your head in confusion.

"Yes and this will show us who the female titan really is." He rested his arm on the desk.

"The female titan?!" Eren raised his voice in surprised.

"You mean--"

"Listen carefully......" Levi leaned over and whispered to you about the plan.

You gulped nervously after he explained.

"Do you think this will work?" Eren wiped off the sweat that trickled down on his forehead.

"I don't know. But its worth a try."

"But that horse-face doesn't even look like me! Anyone can notice that!"

"Shut up,Jeager. Jean will be wearing a wig and he'll try to hide his face as much as he can."

"The same goes to Sasha." Levi shifted his gaze towards you.

"The female titan......is it really her?" You asked sadly.

"We'll see."

I'll skip to the part when Annie meets Armin and the others in a dark alley and when Armin asked Annie if she could assist them in helping them escape.

**Y/N's POV**

Annie then agreed on helping us.

"That was easier than I thought it would be." Eren sighed as Annie lead us through the city.

"Let's just hope they won't find out that Jean's taken my place and that Sasha disguised as (y/n)." Eren whispered.

"Hey, if I hadn't helped you, how did you plan on getting over the wall?" Annie finally spoke.

"I was going to use Maneuver Gear to get through." Armin replied.

"That's insane. Wouldn't it be easier to escape before you'd reached Stohess? Why here? And why now?"

"I felt like the complicated layout of this city would give us a better chance at swapping Eren with Jean and I thought pretending to go along with it, rather than an outright opposition, would prevent suspicion and buy our escape more time."

"I see."

"Oh. Here!" Armin ran to a underground passageway and stopped there as you and the rest followed him.

"Here?" Annie raised her eyebrows.

"Yea, we go through here. The remains of an underground city they planned and abandoned are still down here. This takes us close to the outer gate." Armin explained and went in but you noticed that Annie wasn't following you.

"Annie?" You called out her name.

"Whats wrong? Don't tell me you're afraid of dark,cramped places!" Eren chuckled.

"Yes, I am." Annie replied without any emotion.

"I'm sure a brave suicidal bastard like you wouldn't understand how a weak girl like me feels." She clenched her fist. You frowned as you could feel that something was wrong.

"A girl who can spin a man around in mid-air isn't weak. Now, stop being an i***t and hurry up!" Eren continued walking.

"No, I won't go that way." Annie refused. Eren stopped on his tracks upon hearing that.

"It scares me. If we aren't going above ground, I won't help."

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING? JUST GET DOWN HERE! STOP SCREWING AROUND!" Eren shouted panicking.

"Eren, don't shout!" Mikasa warned him.

"For some reason, there hasn't been anyone nearby for awhile. Don't you think?" Annie stood there, eyes widened.

"Jeez, I'm hurt. When did you start looking at me that way,Armin?" Annie darted her eyes towards Armin. You could see Armin shivering while holding the flare gun.

"Annie, were you the one who killed the Two Titans we captured?" Armin gulped.

"Who knows. But if you thought about that a long time ago, why didn't you act then?"

"Because I still can't believe it! I wanted to think that my eyes deceived me. But,, what about you? You didn't kill me back then during the expedition. And thats why this is happening now."

"Yeah, I think so too. I never expect you to push me this far. Why didn't I kill you back then? Hmm."

"Oii, Annie!! There's still a chance,,you're an i***t who's just going along with this because you have a shitty sense of humor. So get down here right now! You can prove something just by going underground. Get down here and prove it!" Eren shouted.

"I cant. I've failed to become a warrior."

"I SAID THIS ISN'T FUNNY!!" Eren raged.

"Let's talk Annie! We can still tal--" Armin's words were cut off by Mikasa.

"That's enough!" She stepped forward and removed her cloak.

"I can't listen to anymore of this shit." She took out her blades.

"I'LL RIP YOU INTO SHREDS, FEMALE TITAN." Mikasa pointed her blades towards Annie.

At first there was silence. Then Annie bursted out laughing uncontrollably.

'The f**k Annie? You're scaring me.' You thought to yourself.

"Armin, I'm glad I could be a good person to you. You've won your bet. But, THIS IS WHERE MY BET BEGINS!" She was about to bite her hand when Armin fire the flare. Thats when a group of people came out from their hiding place and rushed in,threwing Annie to the ground,restraining her from biting her hand.

Mikasa stopped Eren that was approaching Annie. And that was when you saw it...

A sharp small blade that was connected to her ring.

Before you could warn the others, Mikasa pulled you,Eren and Armin.

"WE WERE TOO LATE!" Mikasa rushed down towards the underground.

You glanced behind and saw the blade of the ring sliced through her finger drawing out blood. A lightning bolt appeared followed by a smoke. You gasped in horror as you watched Annie being transformed into a female titan.

'Annie, so you are the female titan. I didn't believe it at first. I refused to believe it! But I guess I was wrong afterall.'

"She knew I was lying from the start. Ugh!" Armin continued running through the tunnel as Annie tried to reach out her hand to capture you and the rest.

"The real problem is, what should we do now?" Mikasa asked.

"For now, lets meet up with squad 3 and get above ground. We'll follow plan B, We fight Annie! Eren and (y/n) will transform into titans as planned and assists in her capture. You'll do it right?"

"Yeah!" Eren and you agreed.

"Oiii!"

"There's Squad 3!"

"Did the first capture attempt failed?"

"It did! Switch to pl--" A loud crash was heard and the squad 3 was killed right infront of their eyes as the female titan squashed them.

"She stomped right through the ground?!" You gasped in horror.

You then ran as fast as far as you could followed by the others. After awhile, you dropped onto your knees panting.

"What should we do? Our exit is gone."

"..If we stay here, who knows when she'll crush us." Armin's eyes widened.

"I'll do something. Like when I blocked the cannon shell! Come this way." Eren said.

Mikasa,Armin and you gathered around him as he sank his teeth into his hand wounding himself. But unfortunately it didn't work.

"s**t!!" He sank his teeth deeper allowing more blood to flow out.

"ITAAAAII!" He shouted as he endured the pain.

"Now,of all times.. WHY WON'T IT WORK?! I've set a specific goal in my head but why won't it work?!?" Eren cried.

"Ugh! Nevermind that!" You stepped away.

"I'll transform into a titan and capture her myself. Armin,Mikasa keep Eren away from Annie,hide him somewhere where Annie won't find him since her goal is to capture Eren. I'll handle Annie myself!" You ran away leaving them behind.

"WOII (Y/N)!!" Eren shouted out your name.

"ITS TOO DANGEROUS!" Armin added. You ignored their cries and continued running.

After you distanced yourself from them, you took in a huge breath and wound yourself. Thats when a flash of the lightning bolt appeared and you became taller. Everything around you seemed small.

'Annie, I swear I WILL RIP YOU APART!' You sprint towards Annie and started off by kicking her stomach. The impact was so strong that she fell backwards destroying the house behind her. She stood up and threw her fist at you but you manage to caught it and pulled it so hard that it got detached. A number of soldiers tried attacking Annie but they were killed straight away. From the corner of your eyes,you could see Mikasa launching her anchor towards Annie. Annie used her other hand and grabbed Mikasa squeezing her as hard as she could.

'MIKASA!'

Before you could even save her,Mikasa cut all Annie's fingers and with that,Mikasa fell to the ground gasping for air. Annie lifted her feet ontop of Mikasa,getting ready to stomp her when you quickly grab her legs and lifted her up,throwing her hard on the ground. You did that repeatedly. You stopped when Annie had stopped moving. You let your guards down and with a flash, Annie grabbed your leg with her teeth sinking it into your flesh. You roared in pain and quickly she pulled your leg apart. You fell to the ground. Even though you lost one leg, you didn't gave up fighting. Annie stood up and ran away from you. You dragged yourself towards her. She stopped for a moment and looked at you. Your (e/c) eyes met her blue eyes. The next thing you know, you were surrounded by darkness.

**Levi's POV**

"Handcuff him!" Nile instructed as the soldiers rushed towards Erwin.

"Erwin, a trial will decide your punishment."

"Once this is over, I'll sumbit to one with pleasure." Erwin replied calmly.

"Levi, you stay put. You dislike pointless death."

"Yeah, very much. I despise it whether it be mine or my causing someone else's." I walked away and took my equipment and wear my Wings Of Freedom cloak. I glide to wear I heard the sound of a titan scream. There, I saw Annie staring at (Y/n) who was laying on the ground.My eyes widened as Annie lifted her legs and stepped it on (y/n)'s head several times. Her head was now destroyed. An explosion of red blood splattered everywhere. Annie ran off as (y/n)'s titan body dissolves away. I flew to her and grab her. I then launched my anchor to on of the buildings and lay her on the rooftop. (Y/n)'s face was pale and haggard.

"(Y/n),," I whispered out her name as I moved closer to her. Our foreheads touched together, I gently pecked her lips when suddenly her eyes fluttered open.

"L-levi?" She stuttered and faintly smile.

"You've work hard." I hugged her tightly before standing up.

"Stay here and rest. Don't do anything stupid."

"Like?" She smirked.

"Trying to be hero and attack Annie again."

"I don't consider that stupid." She stuck her tounge out.

"Shut up and rest." With that I glide away.

**(Y/N)'s POV**

He glide away leaving you behind. From a distance, you could see Eren in his titan form fighting with Annie. You could tell Annie looked tired. You jumped off and landed on the ground only to find two familiar voices fighting.

"We have to do something! Annie will die out there!"

"Bertholdt, have faith in Annie."

"But Reiner! What if she fails to capture Eren?"

"Then we'll capture him ourselves."

".......Reiner.....I'm sorry but I'm going to help Annie."

Bertholdt was about to run off when you stepped in.

"Well,well. I didn't know Annie has accomplices. Two of them, in fact! Wow. Both of you are titans too right?" You raised your eyebrows. The both of them stood there speechless.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Reiner played dumb.

"Stop screwing around!!! Hmm,,let me guess, Bertholdt is the Colossal Titan and Reiner is the Armored Titan. Am I right?? Please tell me I'm right."

"What the hell are y--"

"SO I'M RIGHT!" You cut off Reiner's sentence.

"Tell me, Colossal & Armored Titan, what is your plan? Why do you want to capture Eren so badly? Please do explain. I'm all ears." You leaned closer to them but there was silence.

"Hurry up." You waited impatiently.

"ANSWER ME YOU f*****g i***t!" You spinned and kicked Reiner on the face and Bertholdt on the stomach. You were so angry because they were the cause of the death of your friends. The ground shook violently over the impact that Eren created while beating up Annie.

Suddenly, a blue light appeared where Annie & Eren was.

"s**t! I'll deal with you later." You glide to the place and discovered Eren's titan form fusing with Annie's.

"What the hell happened here?" You gasped. Levi quickly cut of the nape of Eren's neck grabbing him out of it. After his body dissolves, you approached nearer and saw Annie encased in a crystal.

You fall on your knees right beside the crystal and unknowingly, tears started rolling down. You clenched your fist as you punched the crystal.

"DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT!! WE'VE GONE THROUGH THIS FAR AND YET WE ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING. DAMMIT!" You cursed as you repeatedly punch the crystal until your fist bleeds. From the corner of your eyes, you could see Reiner & Bertholdt standing not far away. You stood up and sprint towards them sending them a punch. You grabbed Bertholdt's collar and shouted directly infront of his face.

"YOU FUCKER! YOU......YOU...YOU....ARGH!!" You threw him to the ground in anger and frustration.

"(Y/n)" Someone called you.You spun around and saw Levi. You couldn't help but cry even more. Levi embraced you as you burried your face in his chest letting it all out.

**Erwin's POV**

"Erwin, I have several questions to ask you regarding this plan of yours. If you had a suspect, why didn't you ask the Military Police for help?"

"Governor, thats because with the Female Titan potentially having allies, I needed to limit the operation to those I was certain were uninvolved." I replied calmly.

"But what about the damage to Stohess from this?"

"Our best efforts were not enough. You have our sincere aplogies."

"DO YOU THINK AN APOLOGY IS ENOUGH!?!?"

"Had we left her alone, the walls would have been destroyed and far more would have died."

"And after all the deaths this operation has caused, do you have conclusive proof that it has forestalled humanity's extinction? I can't imagine we'll be able to get anything from Annie now."

"No. I doubt it would be possible."

".......In other words,this was all for nothing?..."

"But I believe we have gained a tremendous opportunity to ensure the survival of humanity. Compared to when we never even imagined that humans could transfrom into titans,the very fact we've captured one of the enemy, is a massive step forward. Yes, they are out there, and we'll track them all down. All the titans within the walls. Now it is our turn to attack!"

The summon for Eren and the Survey Corps were suspended indefinitely. The custody of Annie was granted to the Survey Corps,who is kept underground. However,it will still take much sacrifice and time before humanity learned what it was that held them captive.

**Y/N's POV**

You clenched your fist as you thought about Annie,Reiner & Bertholdt.

'How could you?' You stood up from your bed and got out searching for Reiner and Bertholdt.

You saw them in the training area and approached them.

"Tell me everything now."You glared at them emphasising on the 'now'.

The wind blew violently brushing against your (h/c) hair as leaves swirled in the wind. The only thing you could hear was the sound of the wind blowing through the trees.You narrowed your eyes to Reiner then shifted it to Bertholdt.

"Tch."
