๐ŸŒ€ SHINOBI TEAM 3 Shadows of the Broken Seal CHAPTER 1: TEAM 3 The training field was silent except for the wind. Davia stood at the far end, blade resting on her shoulder, eyes sharp and impatient. She hated waiting. Every second felt wasted if she wasnโ€™t moving. Justin adjusted his gloves beside her, calm as ever, eyes already scanning the terrain. He memorized distances, angles, escape routesโ€”habits burned into him long before Team 3 existed. Dushawn arrived last. Not late. Just precise. โ€œTeam 3,โ€ he said evenly, stepping between them. โ€œThis isnโ€™t about individual skill. Out there, mistakes get people killed.โ€ Davia smirked. โ€œThen donโ€™t make any.โ€ Justin sighed. โ€œPlease donโ€™t encourage her.โ€ Dushawn almost smiled. Their first test came fast. Targets dropped from the treesโ€”automated combat drones firing stun rounds. Davia moved instantly, blurring forward, blades flashing as metal clattered to the ground. Justin slammed seals into the dirt, barriers rising at perfect angles. Dushawn flowed between them, striking hard, controlled, decisive. In under thirty seconds, it was over. The observers watching from above exchanged uneasy glances. This team wasnโ€™t just strong. They were dangerous. CHAPTER 2: THE FIRST MISSION Night swallowed the outer district. Team 3 moved across rooftops in silence, cloaks snapping softly in the wind. Their mission was simpleโ€”scout the abandoned trade hall and report unusual activity. Simple never lasted. Davia dropped through a broken skylight, landing silently. Her instincts screamed. โ€œMovement,โ€ she whispered. The ambush came immediately. Explosive tags ignited. Blades flashed. Shadows lunged. โ€œBarrier up!โ€ Justin shouted. A glowing shield snapped into place as fire ripped through the room. Davia leapt out, spinning mid-air, slicing down an attacker before he could react. Dushawn moved like a shadow itselfโ€”appearing, striking, vanishing. Within minutes, the rogues were down. Justin knelt beside a fallen enemy and froze. โ€œโ€ฆThis seal,โ€ he murmured. Dushawn stiffened as he saw it. Old. f*******n. Familiar. โ€œTake it,โ€ Dushawn said quietly. Davia raised an eyebrow. โ€œYou good?โ€ โ€œโ€ฆYeah,โ€ he lied. Above them, far beyond the village walls, something shifted. CHAPTER 3: SHADOWS STIR Justin barely slept. The scrollโ€™s seals were wrongโ€”ancient, layered, designed to suppress something massive. Every time he traced the symbols, his head throbbed. โ€œThese werenโ€™t meant to hold an enemy,โ€ he said finally. โ€œThey were meant to bury one.โ€ Davia crossed her arms. โ€œSo we dug it up?โ€ Dushawn stared at the markings, jaw tight. โ€œThat seal shouldnโ€™t exist anymore,โ€ he said. That night, the village shook. A deep c***k split the street like lightning striking stone. Dark chakra poured upward, choking the air. People screamed as buildings collapsed inward. Team 3 arrived first. From the smoking crater, a tall figure stepped forward, calm and terrifying. โ€œDushawn,โ€ the man said softly. Davia felt it instantlyโ€”the pressure, the weight of his presence. โ€œโ€ฆYou know him,โ€ she whispered. Dushawn stepped forward, fists clenched. โ€œLord Kharos,โ€ he said. The past had come back breathing.CHAPTER 4: WHEN SHADOWS BLEED The air felt wrong. Heavy. Pressed down like invisible hands on Daviaโ€™s shoulders. She tightened her grip on her blade, eyes locked on the man standing in the crater. Lord Kharos didnโ€™t move. Didnโ€™t need to. โ€œStill leading missions,โ€ Kharos said calmly, his eyes never leaving Dushawn. โ€œThey trust you with their future.โ€ Dushawn stepped forward. โ€œThis ends tonight.โ€ He vanished into shadow. Davia barely saw him move before he reappeared behind Kharos, palm glowing with compressed chakra. โ€œVoid Pulse!โ€ The blast struckโ€”then vanished. Kharos caught the chakra barehanded, fingers closing slowly as the energy dissolved like smoke. Justinโ€™s breath hitched. โ€œโ€ฆHe absorbed it.โ€ Kharos turned, eyes cold. โ€œYouโ€™ve improved, Dushawn. But youโ€™re still holding back.โ€ Davia didnโ€™t wait. Lightning flared across her veins as she launched forward, blade cutting toward Kharosโ€™s neck. He blocked with two fingers. The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the street. She flipped back, skidding across broken stone. โ€œOkay,โ€ she muttered. โ€œThatโ€™s not normal.โ€ Kharos raised one hand. The ground darkened. Justin felt it first. His seals flickered. โ€œSomethingโ€™s draining the areaโ€”!โ€ The street exploded upward. Davia barely dodged as debris flew. Dushawn grabbed Justin and pulled him clear as a wave of pressure slammed through the block. โ€œFall back!โ€ Dushawn ordered. Kharos watched them retreat, unmoving. โ€œYou survived,โ€ he said quietly. โ€œThatโ€™s intentional.โ€ CHAPTER 5: BLOOD ASH They didnโ€™t get far. Explosions rocked the rooftops as three figures dropped in front of them. Daviaโ€™s eyes narrowed instantly. โ€œโ€ฆTeam 9.โ€ Kaien cracked his knuckles, bone blades forming along his arms. โ€œDid you really think tonight would end clean?โ€ Mira smiled, her eyes glowing faintly. โ€œYou all look scared.โ€ Roth slammed his fist into the ground, stone rippling outward. โ€œGood.โ€ The fight exploded. Roth charged first, swinging a massive stone-coated fist. Davia ducked, slid under the strike, and slashed upward. Wind blades tore across his armor, forcing him back with a roar. Above them, Kaien leapt rooftop to rooftop, launching bone spears. Dushawn vanished between shadows, deflecting strikes mid-air and slamming Kaien into a wall. Miraโ€™s laughter echoed. The world twisted. Suddenly Davia stood alone, surrounded by darkness. Voices whispered doubt, fear, failure. โ€œFocus,โ€ she growled. Lightning surged through her body, shattering the illusion. She hurled a kunai straight through Miraโ€™s sleeve, pinning her to a beam. Justin slammed seals into the ground. โ€œAdaptive Barrier Grid!โ€ Walls rose. Angles shifted. Team 9 slowed. Dushawn landed beside Davia. โ€œNow.โ€ They moved together. Roth fell first. Then Mira. Finally Kaien collapsed to one knee, breathing hard. Team 3 stoodโ€”bruised, breathing, victorious. From far above, unseenโ€” Kharos watched. CHAPTER 6: ECLIPSE DOMAIN The sky darkened at noon. Justin felt it immediatelyโ€”his seals went silent. โ€œNo,โ€ he whispered. โ€œNo, noโ€”โ€ Kharos stepped into the street like a shadow given form. โ€œThis is my domain,โ€ he said. The air died. Chakra vanished. Daviaโ€™s lightning fizzled out mid-spark. Justin dropped to one knee as his barriers collapsed. โ€œWhat is this?โ€ Davia snapped. โ€œEclipse Domain,โ€ Kharos replied. โ€œWhere chakra slowly fades.โ€ Dushawn charged anyway. Shadow Driftโ€” โ€”but Kharos caught him mid-teleport and slammed him into the ground. The impact cracked stone. โ€œDUSHawn!โ€ Davia screamed. She attacked, blade flashingโ€”but her strike weakened before it landed. Kharos flung her aside effortlessly. Justin forced himself upright, blood running from his nose. โ€œWe canโ€™t fight hereโ€ฆโ€ Dushawn struggled to his feet, chest burning. โ€œโ€ฆRetreat,โ€ he said hoarsely. Kharos stepped back, allowing it. โ€œRun,โ€ he said calmly. โ€œGrow stronger.โ€ โ€œThis world will need you broken.โ€ Team 3 escaped into the shadowsโ€” their first true defeat burned into their memory.
