Lenny had come back in and was sitting silently in the corner looking deep in thought.
"Is everything okay with you? You seem different. You're not acting like you normally do." I asked him softly.
He spared me a glance and shook his head. We elapsed into yet another awkward silence.
"I informed your parents btw. You can rest easy."
I slowly nodded my head then added a, "Okay."
And yet we got into one of the infamous awkward silences. It was beginning to get a little stuffy in here. It used to be more fun around Lenny. Whatever was eating him up was- it suddenly dawned on me!! Of course!!! Why didn't I think of it?!
"Lenny, what exactly caused the accident then if we weren't drunk? Or were we drunk? Please tell me." He looked at me deeply then stood up and went over to the wind
