Lucy was playing happily with Imogen the way one might play with a puppy who has too much energy for its own good. They raced through the edges of the Northern Forest territory, but as separate bodies bounding over roots and other debris on the forest floor. The leaves had mostly fallen, littering the floor in various browns and oranges, but the mist of the mountain air kept them damp enough that no crunch was heard as they were trampled.
