When I began writing this novel I had no idea how much research would need to be done on Breast Cancer. I have included a lot of factual information in this novel about the disease. I did the best I could (without a medical degree) to apply the information correctly. I absolutely took liberties with the medical field and science involved, but not for malicious purposes.The thing about fiction is sometimes a writer needs facts bent a certain way for the story to work. I sincerely apologize for any and all mistakes (misleading, or otherwise) made when it comes to diagnosing and the treatment of cancer patients.
