They danced in silence until the song ended. Lyra was about to thank Brandon when Bianca appeared beside her and glared at her brother. Lyra was in a slight state of shock when she looked at her and when Lyra turned to look at Brandon, he was gone.
“What was all that about?” She looked intrigued, and Lyra had to calm her racing heart.
“Honestly, I have no idea. I didn’t even know he could dance.” Lyra huffed, and Bianca burst out laughing as they made their way off the dance floor. She really didn’t know he could dance. Brandon never did anything fun. He always looked so serious.
Lyra couldn’t even believe any of the stories she had heard about him from when he was younger, since that wasn’t the man that she knew. She didn’t see him for the rest of the night, which was a huge relief. S
