“But that can’t be …” Bianca’s voice trailed off. All around her, the family was slowly putting two and two together. When Bianca returned from rejecting Antonio, she didn’t speak to any of them for days. After that, whenever she was asked about the rejection, she would change the subject.
Bianca’s mind suddenly raced as she tried to figure out what the hell happened and how she didn’t realize that she was pregnant. She had none of the signs someone would normally have. Her scent hadn’t changed, and according to the doctor, it was still early in the pregnancy and that was probably why nobody could smell it.
“Is Antonio the father?” Her father looked furious as he tried to compose himself. Bianca was still in shock, but she nodded.
