Nobody answered immediately. Another wave of heat slammed into me. My knees nearly gave out. Damon caught himself before taking a step toward me.
At the exact same moment, Noah moved.
"So you do smell it too," Damon said coldly.
Noah stopped without taking his eyes off me. "You think I can ignore it?"
Ryder let out a humorless laugh. "None of us can."
The three of them instinctively spread out, forming a rough triangle around me. Not to protect me, but to keep each other away from me.
Lydia growled uneasily. They're circling. Like rival Alphas.
The mate bond inside me suddenly pulsed hard. My heart skipped. Damon inhaled sharply. Rhein's possessiveness crashed into the room like a tidal wave.
