"Where did you get that?!" Claudia pointed at the Luna's Tear on my earlobe, her voice sharp and demanding.
I turned my head to avoid her hand and followed her gaze. I touched the earring and finally understood what she was asking about.
I should have taken these earrings off ages ago, but I hadn't worn earrings in so long that Damon had to poke my earlobes several times that night at the auction before they finally went in. My ear holes had gotten inflamed, and when I got home, I tried a few times to take them off but couldn't. Eventually, I just gave up.
