Aria's POV After leaving the hospital, I took a cab straight back to my apartment. I collapsed onto the couch, opened a food delivery app, found a place with good reviews, and placed an order. Then I dragged myself to my home office and started catching up on work emails, preparing to go back to the office tomorrow. The doorbell rang. I was in the middle of typing a response to a client when I heard it. I glanced at the time in the bottom-right corner of my screen. 7:13 p.m. It had only been ten minutes since I ordered. That was way too fast! I didn't think much of it. The bell rang again, so I got up and opened the door. Nobody was there. Just an empty hallway. I looked left, then right... still nothing. Did I imagine it? Just as I was about to close the door and head back inside
