Eric returned later that night. He had contacted Eliven and he would be arriving tomorrow afternoon. Eric had been able to get him to understand that Jo was putting memories back together and that he was to go slow. Eliven was shocked to hear from him but not shocked to find out that Jo was still alive. Vampires were not easily killed, and even more rare for them to just die.
Eric opened the door to their bedroom and Jo grabbed him in her arms.
