The preparation for the exchange of power took two weeks. The entire kingdom was thoroughly staffed, cleaned, and decorated.

Rooms were set up for the needs for every species. All the leaders, partners,and their seconds were expected to be in attendance. No one had turned down the chance to witness the changing of the Gods. After all it was a rare occurrence and likely never to occur again in any of their lifetimes.
