Dinner With Alphas

1204 Words
The NEXT DAY MORNING Blakeley opened the door to walk out of her room when a maid showed up in front of her, she flinched a little and gave the maid a questioning look. “Good morning ma’am.” “Yeah, morning.” She replied and tried to walk away but the maid stood in her way. “Excuse me?” “Sir Dante gave us an order to not let you out of your room till noon ma’am.” “What? Why?” “I have no idea, ma’am. Your breakfast is ready.” The maid said and two maids carrying different trays walked into her room. Without saying any word again, Blakeley walked back to her bed and sat on it. “It's like I am in a f*****g prison.” She muttered and rolled her eyes. ******** HOURS LATER Blakeley spent her day in her room watching movies. She had her lunch in the room. She decided to stay indoors all day since Dante didn't want her out in the morning. It was getting late and she was tired of staying in the room, so she stood up and made her way out of the room. She got to the hallway and walked down the stairs, getting to the living room. She met the guy she saw in the kitchen last night answering a phone call. He noticed her presence and he turned to her, they both stared at each other as he talked on the phone. His eyes slowly drifted to her bandaged hand and he stared at it. Blakeley took her time to study his appearance and she couldn't help but admire him, he looked so handsome even without trying. She thought Dante was cute and perfect but she was wrong, he is the definition of perfect. She stared at his eyes and they looked so familiar. It was strange so she shrugged off the thought. He ended the call and Blakeley cleared her throat, she looked away embarrassed when she realised she had been staring for too long. “Excuse me, do you know where Dante is?” She asked and he didn't give her a response, he looked at the door to the living room and Dante walked in. “Hey, do you… “ Dante trailed off as he saw Blakeley in the living room. “What are you doing down here? Do you need something?” He asked harshly. “I have been in my room all day and… “ She trailed off as another guy walked into the living room. ‘How can men be so beautiful?’ She thought as she stared at him. He was cute but not up to the guy that startled her last night. “Well, thank you.” He suddenly said and she looked at him confused. “Hi, I am Ethan. Nice to meet you.” He introduced and she nodded. “I am Blakeley.” “Blakeley, that’s a nice name.” “Thank you.” She replied with a smile. He seems nicer than Dante and the guy from last night. Dante looked at her with a glare and she knew it was time for her to leave the living room. She turned to leave but Ethan stopped her. “Hey, hold on. Why are you in such a hurry? I would love to get to know Dante’s wife.” Ethan said with a smile. “I am not his wife. I work for him.” She remembered what Dante told her. “They know already.” Dante scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Ignore his attitude. Dante isn't a fan of appreciating beautiful people.” Ethan said and moved closer to her, he held her injured arm and she hissed in pain. “Oh, I’m sorry. I didn't know you had an injury there.” He apologised. “It's fine.” She replied. She noticed she had felt numbness in her hand lately and she thought the wound was healing but it hurt like hell. “Come, we were about to have dinner. Join us.” Ethan said and pulled her gently to the dining with her other hand before Dante could stop him. Dante and the other guy trailed behind them. Ethan sat next to Blakeley, Ethan sat at the end of the table while the guy that startled her sat opposite her. She looked at him and looked away immediately as their eyes were about to meet. “So Blakeley. I heard Mr. Xanders is your father.” Ethan said, starting a conversation as they ate. “Yeah.” “Such a powerful Alpha. It must be such a great privilege being his daughter.” “I guess so.” She shrugged. “You must be powerful… “ “She doesn't have anything. She is useless. She is not a werewolf, just human.” Dante cut Ethan off and she sighed. “Oh, I’m sorry. I had no idea.” “It's fine.” She replied with a smile and continued eating. No one said anything again till the end of the dinner. “Good night.” Blakeley muttered and stood up, she walked out of the dining room and rushed to her room. Dante groaned and rolled his eyes. “You really are dramatic.” He said to Ethan and he chuckled. “I don't get it. If you don't want her, why did you get married to her?” “I had a deal with her father. He was getting sick of her not having a mate.” “Do you plan on making her your mate?” Ethan asked and Dante scoffed. “Of course not. What kind of Alpha gets mated with a human?” “She might just be a late bloomer.” “Oh please, she is twenty-two. Late bloomers get into their wolf form at eighteen. She is nothing, Ethan.” “What happened to her hand?” The guy finally spoke up and they both turned to him. “Just a minor injury.” He replied and turned back to Ethan. Blakeley sat in front of the mirror in her room and breathed out, she slowly lifted her injured arm and winced in pain. She took off the bandage slowly and her eyes widened in shock when she saw the wound. It was getting worse, the pattern of Dante’s claws seemed to have gotten deeper and blood was still on the surface. She groaned in pain as tears welled up in her eyes. It is a wound from an Alpha, it can't heal properly. The tears rolled down her cheeks and she winced in pain. “Oh my God, it hurts so bad.” She whispered. ****** Ethan walked out of Dante’s house and leaned on his car, he played with his keys as he thought about something. The quiet guy walked out of the house and Ethan walked to him as he headed to his car. “Hey, Alex.” Ethan called and he turned to him with a questioning look. “What do you think of Blakeley as a mate?” “As a mate?” Alex asked back. “As your mate.”
