“Seraphina says you’re wolf shifters. Is this true?” I might as well blurt out my main thoughts right away. That’s certainly my primary question. Why these women—or this whole community—thinks they’re a bunch of mythical creatures is beyond me.
“That certainly would be my first question as well,” one of the women says. Her blonde hair is the lightest shade of yellow I’ve ever seen, and her blue eyes look like jewels. “We will show you that it’s true, of course. But this is a difficult thing for humans to discover. Why don’t we answer some of your other questions first?”
