I cradled her face, still damp from tears, and kissed her all the more deeply. "Don't go," I whispered again against her lips, before diving in again, unable to get enough of what I'd stupidly denied myself.
I felt her small delicate fingers thread into my hair, her body melting into mine. Groaning, I slid one of my hands to the small of her back, relishing the contact.
"You—cannot—leave—me," I kissed my way down to the crook of her neck, burying my nose there.
"I wasn't going to, you silly man." she murmured breathlessly. "You kicked me out of your house without so much as a goodbye."
"I'll never say goodbye," I growled, kissing my way back up to her face. I maneuvered her back through the doors, never breaking contact. "I can't be without you."
