"You've been smiling and staring at your phone for minutes now. What is my best friend not telling me?" Mira's loud voice rang out behind and I immediately dropped my phone to my lap. I swallowed hard, shifting my eyes toward her to make sure she saw nothing.
"Mira, you scared me." I snapped, placing a hand on my chest. She scoffed, pushing out a chair opposite mine and plopping down.
I had just walked into the cafeteria to eat something before our next class.
"You're not answering my question. What the hell were you smiling at just now?" She asked again and I shifted my attention to the milkshake in front of me.
"It was nothing. I wasn't even smiling. Guess you saw wrong." I took a sip of my milkshake before dropping it down.
