I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight before me, before I could even think it through my brain moved before my legs could catch up.
"Vanessa!" I called, moving over to the couch as I quickly placed Jersey down.
"Please!" Vanessa whimpered, she was crouched down on the floor her hand clutching her tummy tightly.
"What's going on?" My heart skipped as I took long strides toward her, crouching down to her level. "What happened?"
"Pains! Pains, my tummy, pains!" Tears were rolling down her cheeks, her eyes shut tight as she clutched her tummy even tighter.
I swallowed hard, biting down on my lower lip as I quickly helped her up, leading her toward the couch. "Did something happen? Did you fall? How is it...,"
