Samantha abruptly hung up the phone, infuriated that she had been made to feel like a victim because of a mistake and the other person's condescending attitude.
At 9:00 a.m., the alarm went off.
Samantha had taken her resume and cover letter outdoors to look for work when she was taken aback to see a letter waiting for her. The letter was opened, and she started reading the contents. She had not expected to be offered a position as a Junior Doctor at such a prestigious hospital in a different city, so when she saw the offer letter, she literally leaped in delight.
Samantha burst into the house in tears of joy, where she sat on the floor and sobbed.
When she heard a knock at the door, she panicked, sure that Teressa had returned.
A question: "Who is it?" Samantha approached the entrance and enquired.
And when she heard nothing back from the other side, she knew she had to act. Samantha, angry, grumpily opened the door.
She is taken aback to see Tommy and asks why he came to the house, as she does not want to interact with him or his relatives.
"Samantha, There's no need to go out and talk to strangers. But if you truly thank the individual who assisted you, that is all that is required. When a woman is unemployed, life becomes challenging. Robert realized this, so he requested me to set up everything for you in another city. He'll die for you. That's how much he cares. I don't know if the two of you liked each other, but I said something bad to my mom, and now he has to pay for it." The saddened Tommy said.
Samantha gave him a bewildered look and demanded to know what had happened.
Tommy explained that Robert is leaving with Teressa's girl, but only on the condition that he get you a decent job in another city and move away.
Only after Robert guaranteed that he would marry the girl whom Mom saw did she agree to the condition, and only then did you get the job.
Samantha was taken aback by his response and sat on the floor, tears in her eyes, as she read the Appointment Letter. She is confused by Robert's overt displays of adoration, but recent events have made her increasingly drawn to him.
"Samantha, It's fine if you won't be able to identify Robert. He may be a playboy, but he's not a nasty guy who cheats on a female, so please don't hate him. When making decisions, his sole c***k in the armor is Mom. He's engaged to be married to someone else right now, and he still doesn't plan on offering you the job. However, he loves you so much that he's willing to sacrifice his life for you. Bye." Tommy said as he approached the front door.
While he was gone, Robert gave her a blank check so she would be financially comfortable while visiting a new city.
With Robert laying down his life for Samantha in her thoughts, Samantha knew she had to take action.
The clock struck eleven on the hour.
"Tommy, Can you tell me if you called Samantha?" Robert questioned as he took a peek at Tommy.
Tommy indicated yes by nodding his head and sobbing while hugging Robert.
"Robert, For some reason, I told Mom that you love Samantha when I misread your repeated calls to the guest house. Why are you wasting your time with her if she doesn't love you? You made a poor choice, in my opinion. You should reevaluate your situation since dealing with the issue of a girl who is not in your heart will consume your life for the rest of your days. I had no idea that your mother would feel the need to get in touch with you so quickly." This is what Tommy said irritably.
