It was now 8:00 pm, as the clock chimed.
Samuel was reflecting on the events of that day while enjoying a glass of wine. He is upset with his son since James was invited to the wedding party, an event he did not anticipate being a failure.
"I have reviewed all of the paperwork, sir. No one but Samantha may legally transfer ownership of the properties. Since Oliver put his daughter's name on the deed to the entire property, we have no recourse unless she legally joins your family." the Lawyer stated, leaving the papers Oliver had filled out on the table.
Samuel closed his eyes and pleaded with the Advocate to find another solution; he didn't want the properties to be sold or given away.
Given that their respective roles could shift if Samantha marries someone else or if Oliver is able to identify her, I believe it would be best to persuade and obtain signatures from Samantha. Advocacy remarked, rising from his seat.
As Tommy entered the Guest House, Samuel turned to stare at his wine-imbibing father. Knowing his father had summoned him to discuss the incident of that day, he mentally prepared himself to respond with forceful responses.
"Welcoming you, Hero. Sincere kudos for making me look like an i***t by anticipating my strategy and telling James about it.
Growing up, I always anticipated that you would one day surpass me in the economic world. However, I never imagined that you would dash my hopes and dreams of being a billionaire. There's something I should give you, but all I have is this rod." Samuel said, shocking everyone by slamming the rod down on Tommy's head with such force.
"Doctor!" Tossing the rod aside, Samuel yelled.
The doctor in the other room came over to Samuel, said that he had made all the necessary preparations to treat Tommy, and directed the nurse to take Tommy inside.
Samuel wrote the doctor a blank check and instructed him to treat Tommy without sharing any information about him.
He looked at the worried Advocate and assured him that he would do all it took to make a billion dollars.
"Teressa handed me the file on the day when Robert offered Samantha a position at a different hospital. According on the report's written identification moles, I have determined that Samantha is Oliver's daughter. I watched her behavior intently and then followed her to the hospital, where I tried to kill her. But then she collapsed in the hospital by accident, and I had a thought. So I paid off the doctor, had him write up a false pregnancy report, and had Samantha take a few medication to make it seem like she was pregnant. I fabricated evidence to support the claim that Robert's touch on Samantha resulted in her becoming pregnant. I could have simply stolen Samantha's signature and become a billionaire if she was to become my daughter-in-law. What should I do now?" In a fit of anger, Samuel yelled and shut his eyes.
It was already 10:00 PM when the clock chimed.
Samantha is overjoyed because James has finally become a typical human being. Some sort of emotion is stirring in her chest, and she has an understanding of the transformation she saw in her father.
In her hands was the appointment letter from the hospital where she needed to be. James was taken aback by the fact that she ripped it in half.
"Samantha, Just what are you doing? You need to join tomorrow in your job. How can you join without presenting this letter?" James was taken aback and asked.
Samantha approached the glass and gazed at the full moon outside. There was silence for a while, and then Samantha broke it by expressing that she wanted to work at her father's Airlines because she had always sobbed when she thought about seeing her parents and asking James for permission to do so.
"What?" As if he were in disbelief, James asked Samantha if she had ever considered meeting them.
Samantha dried her eyes and explained that she was not a slut because she was born to parents and has always wanted to give her own father a bear hug.
"To clarify, Samantha: Your father is the chief executive officer of an airline. You're a doctor; why would you want to work in your father's Airlines?" James questioned bemusedly.
Samantha said that she was interested in joining her father's airline as an employee, but not as CEO, and that she wanted to pursue a medical degree in aviation so that she could become a pilot surgeon.
James deliberated for a while, then told Samantha to chill out since he was going to pay for the entire course and everything would turn out just fine, regardless of what she was worrying about.
A chime indicated that it was 2:00 AM.
It was the sound of James talking on the phone that roused Samantha from sleep. She couldn't make out a word he said, but she went over to his room anyhow.
"Sir, if the money could be arranged by tomorrow, it would be very helpful. Samantha's ultimate career goal was to become a Pilot Surgeon. I could not have asked you in such a way if I had the money with me." ", James stated before hanging up the phone.
To Samantha's knowledge, no one would help them without first considering the financial incentives.
