Samantha came out of the house

James's mind started to wander back to the roadside incident. Even though Andrea knows that Johnson is a moron, he cannot fathom why she places so much stock on him. He started to take a sip of coffee, but his thoughts went in several different directions.

At last, he makes up his mind on unraveling the mystery of the truth. Though he knew Johnson wouldn't come clean on his own, he knew from watching him drink vodka at the bar that he often found himself there.

James hoped that if he used his habit to investigate, he could find out the truth and protect Samantha.

When her friends noticed a genuine expression of joy and happiness on Samantha's face, they pressed her about it, but she just smiled and pretended it wasn't there.

Her dimples return whenever she recalls the bike incident, and she experiences a renewed sense of happiness.

It was 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon.

Samantha exited the university with a smile, but she was disappointed to see Johnson waiting for her. She was perplexed as to why he had slipped behind her as they left the university.

They returned to the house, where she attempted to discuss Johnson's harassment, but Andrea cut him off before he could finish. Instead, she surprised Samantha by presenting her with a wedding dress and announcing that they would exchange vows within the next two days.

"My mother, I beg you to hear me out right now. Now I am studying Psychiatry in college. I need two years because I can't just stop in the middle of my studies. Then tell me why you want to tie the knot with me." Samantha, in tears, questioned.

Andrea warned Samantha loudly not to bring up marriage now that the decision had been made.

Samantha, unsure of what to do because Andrea was ignoring her and James was nowhere to be found, went to her room and sobbed loudly.

Unable to reason with her mother, Samantha refused the food and slept in that position.

Time had reached 10:00 o'clock.

Samantha jumped to her feet and ran to the window after hearing a noise outside. James unexpectedly arrives and asks her to come out, and she is taken aback.

Samantha sprinted over to the glass and gave him a teary finger kiss. She needed someone to empathize with her, and after meeting James, she felt at peace with herself.

"Please be quiet. If you could hand me the screwdriver, "James remarked while he took a gander at his surroundings.

Samantha handed James the screwdriver, and he quickly popped the window open. He suggested that Samantha leave the pillows on the bed, throw a blanket over them, and lock herself in her room.

Following James's advice, Samantha jumped from a window. Although she had not prepared for this day, she remained calm because James was by her side.

James sped to a nearby restaurant, where he asked her to calm down, but she sobbed on his shoulder as he wiped her tears and promised to take her out of the city after they finished eating.

Shocking Samantha to the point where she couldn't process his words. It's unclear what's causing her hands to shake, but clearly, she's nervous and anxious about it.

"It's all right. After two days, I'll bring you back to safety. I promise I won't cause you any harm ", James beamed and declared.

Samantha gave David a warm hug and told him she believed in him but didn't want to come with him because she didn't understand why.

"I recognize your anxiety, Samantha. But I'm taking you away from marriage and the snare you're in. As you are my friend, I cannot tell you why Andrea is pressuring you into marriage." James paused because he could not find the words to express what was on his mind.

Samantha stared intently into his eyes, eager to hear what James had to say.

"The day is winding down. There will be no more meals served at the restaurant. I am well aware of the fact that you skipped lunch. Come, "James told her as he led her indoors.

After expecting more from James, Samantha was let down by his response. James took her outside after crying for quite some time, and she looked into his eyes and thanked him.

She felt joy as she reached out and kissed James' fingers. He realized how much she loved him when he felt her tears fall to his hands. But there are moral restraints on how he can show it in public. So he withdrew his hands and told Samantha not to fret. The waiter then abandoned the table, leaving the food where it was, as she opened her mouth to speak.

Samantha started eating and talking about what had happened at school and how one boy had been trying to propose to her for days.

James, taken aback, asked Samantha, with evident eagerness, what she thought of the boy.

"He has been following me for days, so I have no choice but to accept his offer. I asked him to give me two years to finish school and told him I'd consider it seriously. Let's wait and see what transpires." Internally, Samantha chuckled.

Disappointed by her response, James brushed it off by claiming he wasn't hungry.

Samantha grabbed his hands and motioned for him to sit down. She reached over and stuffed a slice of pizza into James' mouth.

Samantha sobbed, "If you don't eat the food, I cannot stay happily."

James expressed regret and urged her to finish the meal. He knew Samantha cared deeply for him but could not show it because of Andrea.

Samantha doesn't want to go back to hell, so she asks James to take her somewhere after a while. She'll be happy.

"Samantha, We're taking a cruise to XXXX Place. After two days, I will return you to safety without a trace. Come, "James said, his eyes wide with alarm as he regarded Samantha.

"Because you stuck to your word and didn't start drinking vodka again after what happened with Johnson in the house, I have faith in you. The way you treat a girl is all the proof she needs to fall in love with you. "I'm going to sit on the bike," Samantha said.

James was relieved and relieved to know his worth in her eyes. But he couldn't figure out how to fix the thing that had been bothering him for so long. Rather than seeing her as his stepdaughter, he saw a kind and sweet young woman.
