The inside of the store was even bigger then it looked from the outside. It certainly wasn’t Walmart but it came quite close.
As she made her way into the store picking up things here and there she noticed that most of the people there have noticed her. A few gave her friendly smiles but most of them stared at her. She returned smiles to the ones that were welcoming. After picking out all the things needed including fresh vegetables and fruits she made her way towards the counter. The girl in charge of the counter was a teenager like her. She guessed same age.
She smiled brightly at her. She had flaming red hair ,brown eyes and a small cute button nose spattered with freckles and she looked to be about 5 3 in height. She was pretty in a petite way.
“Hi. I am Zarah . Are you the new girl that moved in the pearl White House along the woods??”
She asked. She sounded both excited and a little awed
She glanced at her hair . Scheherazade remembered that she had not put her hair in a bun instead it hung down her back in a thick glorious braid.
Well people always stared at her hair alot.
“yep that’s me .I am Scheherazade “she replied smiling.
“Scheherazade that’s such a unique name. What does it mean”
“my mums a huge fan of the story 1001 Arabian nights. She named me after the Princes from that book. You can call me Sher for short”
“Sher I hope you are starting our schohere” she said
“oh don’t worry you will fit right in. And with a face like yours won’t be having troubleol
what year you will be in”
“Yeah I ll start tomorrow. I 'll be starting my senior year.”
“yeyyyyyyyyyy you will have to sit with me and my friends at lunch. I cannot wait for you to meet everyone”
She said excitedly.
“Thank God I 'll know someone tomorrow. It really sucks to be new girl. That too after the term has already started. I was thinking I would never make any friends making friends trust me.” She said smiling.
“see you tomorrow .bye“scherezade said waving.
“bye” she also replied waving back.
