"The king wants to see you in his study, Your Highness," Jenny, an old flame, informs me, her voice tinged with a bit of nostalgia.
Jenny was the one who ended my days of innocence. On my eighteenth birthday, she appeared in my study in a low-cut dress, pretending to clean while clearly having other intentions. She stayed well into the night, luring me into taking her right there on the desk.
