Chapter 4 Kevin woke up to the sound of his cabin mate typing, as he frequently had over the course of the mission. “Morning,” he grunted. “Look who’s up at last,” said Randy without missing a keystroke. By now he probably had enough written for an entire series: Randy Stackpole’s Geology of the Kuiper Belt. It didn’t hurt that he was one of those lucky people who didn’t need more than six and a half hours of sleep a night. That gave him fourteen more productive hours a week than Kevin, who was an eight and a half hours of sleep man. “Of course you’re bound to sleep in when you stay out half the night,” added Randy.
