"Knock Knock" Favour said as she approached Kate's room. "Kate? Kate?" She called twice as she received no answer. "What's the problem?" I asked her as I went to grab a bottle of water in the kitchen. "Kate ain't answering the door" "But why?" "Like I know." We banged and banged as I kicked the door open after minutes of waiting. What we saw made us shiver. Kate was dead. Really dead. We had to get out of this place before someine else died this shameful death of pain. We all cried òut loud, which made Sandra rush into the room. She broke down in tears as she saw her best friend laying down before her, all gone. She quickly ran away as she went to the kitchen and grabbed a kinfe to stab herself. "Nooooo!" we screamed as I grabbed the knife from her and she fell on her knees crying hard. "What went wrong?" she asked as she tried to calm down but no one answered her. They all left as they went to their rooms. I met Favour at the bottom of the stairs. Favour held out her hands. "I'm scared. You?" "Same here." I held her hands as we walked to the kitchen. "You think its the mummies?" "Yes." "You've got to be joking, Drayne. You mean the mummies would kill innocent people?" "I've heard worse." I spoke dismissively. "Ok, wait till I phone the police to get here." She said out of fear and anger. "f**k you, Favour." Through the windows, Favour saw a pair of moving lights. Sandra— she was crossing the lawn of the house. What was she even doing there he thought. As she watched Sandra moving and crying at the same time, she couldn't take it anymore. She had to get the police before she or anyone else died. " Keys" She crossed the room to the table. She took the keys as she hurried to the car parked outside the house. Opening the door, she inserted the key to its hole as she ignited it. "Voom" the car started as she closed the door and started her journey. It was going to take two hours, but it was worth it she thought. While driving, the car seemed fill with an unknown spirit as she tried waving the thought off. The road was dirty as she tried crossing it in a gentle speed. "Zoooom!!" the car hit an incoming tree. Hold on. An incoming tree? How did the tree move from its place? Her mind was going to burst. She was still alive, but was bleeding profusely. Her heart raced as she thought of ways to escape. Her hair was soaked with her own blood which marveled her. "Lord, forgive me" Her eyes closed as she began to convulse.
