Meanwhile, the rest of the gang were in the ballroom doing what only Hades knows. I always addressed ourselves as a gang because we were always together.

Back in my room

The door developed legs immediately. It disappeared from its main position as i wanted to break it. But why in Neptune's name will i even go blind suddenly?

Outside, the breeze rose and fell. A respiratory sound. The creaks of timbers intruded through my imagination as i wondered the main source of the dust falling into my eyes. The darkness swept me through my feet as my eyes were still closed. Fear gripped me as i heard footsteps approaching me then stopped. The air in the room became stuffy like i was being deprived of air. The footsteps approached again but this time, i could sense the stranger close to me. I thought I'd be able to shout in order to scare this stranger but what if he was armed? How'd i even know it was a he and where will he even enter to come into the room when the door is no longer there? Lots of questions ran across my mind as i thought it even crazy to believe in ghosts.

But I knew I've forgotten about something i heard earlier today... Yes!! The mummies

The air became stuffy as I tried to find a route that will enable me to escape. Then....a rushing, swirling sensation. An impression of a huge physical presence retreating with such speed that currents air raced around. The vacuum turned on immediately as i felt myself being carried away into the vacuum. Then a thud, light came in as i could feel my eyes breaking free from the dust then the slap came.

"Drayne! Are you okay?"

Gasping for the once stuffy air, the dust fell from my eyes as i tried to sit into a straight position.

"Drayne? What's the matter?" I saw a figure leaning on the door

"Samuel?"

"What really happened here? You look like you've been sitting in the bottom of a pool for five minutes. Look how you've being soaked with your sweat"

"Samuel please tell me this is a dream?"

"No! It's not dream. What really happened. Tell me"

"It started with me going up the cellar as i saw a shadow... Then me hearing the king Tutankhamen and his daughter Sarla discussing on how to destroy us and then i saw myself here, from me going blind to me gasping for air and finally loosing it"

"You went up the cellar? I'm sure its all a dream"

"No its not! It really happened. I could take you up the cellar if you wish?"

"Hmmmm.... When i say you are a scared cat, I'm damn serious bro... Foolish dreams and i thought you were in big trouble because we were just hearing you scream from the ballroom"

"Get out! I'm sure Sandra will believe me"

"Not only Sandra including Favour and Kate... Big dummy!!"

I left the room in anger as i found my way to the kitchen and got food from the fridge. The light rays made it easy for reflections to be seen through the fridge. A image rested its head on the sink smiling awkwardly at me. I tried to turn, but was stuck till i decided to call out.

"Who are you?"

"I am Sarla" The voice said amidst laughter

"Sarla?? I knew it was real. You do exist. Please leave me let me just me"

"Not as easy as ABC dear... I need your flesh. Just a little because its being long i got one"

"Never!! I'm secured by his grace so you won't have me" I shouted as i tried running away

"Not in this life!!!" Sarla could run real fast as she caught me and dug her nails into me. I tried to scream, but the air became stuffy again. Her nails was as sharp as a knife as she sliced my skin and little part of my flesh fell off as she put it in her mouth and ate it, enjoying the taste.

I couldn't cry no more. My heart burned as i couldn't breathe. My eyes suddenly became heavy as i fell on the floor bleeding. If no one should come now, I might just end it here.

Sarla then spoke

"Welcome to your doom!!" And to that, she disappeared into thin air. Now i knew Mummies really existed.

"Drayne. Drayne. Oh My God! You're bleeding seriously. What happened?"

"I..I.. a-m about to die. She was here. Sh..e diid th...i...s to m...e...e..e"

"Who is that? What's her name?"

"Sar....l....a the female mummy" And saying that, I collapsed
