“Oh my God. Oh my God, you actually got it.” Seth’s screaming woke me up. As annoying as it was, I grinned. I knew what he was looking at; I had spent an hour setting it up after he went to bed.
“I can’t believe you actually got it,” he screamed from the living room. I laughed and decided to get out of bed. There would definitely be no sleeping anymore. I knew I would have no peace until I joined Seth and officially wished him a happy birthday. I headed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth quickly then went to the living room.
I was nearly tackled to the ground by an enormous hug as I entered. I giggled, it had been quite some time since I had seen Seth so animated, it warmed my heart after all we’d been through.
