The week had dragged so much, I made all the arrangements and couldn’t wait for Kay to see what I had planned. This was my sanctuary, a place I went when I needed to unplug and unwind. I hadn’t ever taken anyone with me, preferring to keep it to myself, but Kay really needed some time out and I wanted to share it with her. The weather report looked good so it was all set.
