Emile  I just needed some more sleep I thought as the sound of beeping filtered through my sleep. Just five more minutes, I just needed to turn off the alarm clock. The beeping sounded a little different and the bright light didn’t feel like morning. I stirred, trying to open my eyes. My mouth felt like a dessert and my head was fuzzy like I was on some heavy drugs.  “He’s waking up,” I vaguely heard someone say. It sounded like I was underwater.
