Kelvin pov

There was a knock on the door. Come in i said. My assistant came in. I have a great new for you. I raised up my head that was focused on the computer.

What is it. I ask thinking he got new about my missing sister.

We got the contract. My mood change when i heard those words.

Kelvin you should be happy we got it, after so long, we finally got the contract.

He his right, i'm happy at the same time sad.

You don't need to after all you are my best friend. He said and he handed me a paper.

I will take my leave now. he said and left my office. I put the paper on my desk, i stood up and walk to the window. Derek is my best friend also my assistant. We have been best friend since high school. He knows everything about me and my missing sister. Derek came into my life the very day my sister was born. We are neighbours and classmate we attended the same school and university.

It has been eight years since my sister got missing. Eight years of our lives she wasn't there. Ever since she left, my family has never been the same. I have tried all i could do to find her but yet she is nowhere to be found. Last week her case was brought up. It has been closed, for the past eight years. But this time i will not stop until i find her.

The day went so quickly, i stood up ready to leave that when Derek came in.

Kelvin. He said as soon as he entered my office.

Do you know that office hour is over. What are you still doing here?

Someone is here to see you.

Who that. I asked, not ready to see anyone.

He said his name is Jason a detective.

Ohh, let him. I sat back to my chair. He is among the detectives that are looking for sister i hope he has good new.

Jason came to my office. He is a young detective, he will be in his early thirties.

Mr jason i stretched my hand for an hand shake which he accepted.

Any good news. I said as i sat on my chair.

Mr kelvin, i won't say it a good or bad, but what i discovered of your missing sister, is that during the period of which your sister got missing, not only your sister was missing, also a lot of kids got missing that period.

What. I'm a bit surprise for the sudden outcome. I said to myself.

Then why weren't their case brought up.

Their cases was brought up but due to lots of problems it was close three month later.

Why will they just close the case without finding the kids or clue of what happened to them. I said there is why, cause i'm not getting it at all. I need answers to all my question.

That what i do not know Mr kelvin. It might be posdible they were threaten and other way of getting them frightened.

Is there any way you could get their whereabout and ask them a few question.

No problem Mr Kelvin. He stood up ready to leave when he said something.

Mr Kelvin i will try my best in this case, trust me, we got a clue of kids that where missing. We might also get a clue of her whereabout. I smiled at him.

If that possible you will bring joy into my family, they will be very grateful to you.

After talking to jason i left the office heading home. I played one of my favourite song, No More You.

I started singing. No more you.... No more you... What i'm gonna do.. No more you. I sang the song all the way home. I parked my car at the garage. I walk inside the house. I was greeted by few workers in the house.

I went up to the shower, then i head down for dinner. I saw my dad and mum already seated there. I took a sit opposite my mum.

Kelvin my child how is work. My mum ask.

Cool.

I can see work get you stressful. My dad said.

Not bad.

Kelvin you shouldn't let work cover you up. You should give yourself a break. Mum said. I wanted to her i can't stop working for the sake of my sister.

Are you okay.

Yeah.

Let eat, the food is already served we shouldn't let it get cold. We ate the food silently. I return back to my room after the dinner. This is how my life has been, ever since my sister got missing. My parent don't look happy anymore.
