"Was it a dream?" adelaide asks herself....she tries to stand up but finds out she's pain...sores all over her....and worse she felt pain in her v****a.
"mariam...."adelaide calls with a faint voice.
mariam comes in and knees before her."What happened?."
"Did I leave this room yesterday... did any strange person come in?"
"No....i was on guard last night....what happened? Why do you look so pale?"
"Nothing....you're sure no one came in?"
mariam stares into her eyes as if searching for something..
"I'm sure," mariam sights a mark on her neck.She checks and exclaims in joy.
"You finally have a mate!!....why didn't you tell me?"
Adelaide gives her a confused look. "Are you okay?...why don't I know I have a mate?"
mariam rakes her body with her eyes. "You are marked"
"Wait....hold up....what do you mean...."adelaide had heard about marking and shit... but she never expected to get marked someday.
"That can't be true....are you joking around right now...first you say am...mated....now I'm marked how?"
"This mark says it all."
Adelaide's mind drifts to the dream she had last night....she clearly saw the man face....she wondered how then she couldn't remember his face.
"mariam....I have a friend she had a dream...about being marked and after woking up she finds herself truly marked"

"Was that why....you took a big risk?...you could have lost all your powers if she wasn't willing,"old mother Ria says.
Lucas smiled his heart out for the first time in long years.
The thought of her willing to be marked by him... got him delighted.
"Everything is fine now....isn't it?...I've got it all under control...."
Old mother ria smiles,delighted adelaide has an effect on him,she hoped he'd help him heal.

Lucas gets interrupted by adelaide, who bursts the door open..old Mother Ria disappears immediately.
"What are you doing here?"
"of course to kill you"she throws him a resounding slap.

She make him keep quiet with another resounding slap.
