Chapter 21THE LAWN CREATURES Late the next morning, Ivy stopped by Uncle Walter’s trailer to deliver some of Grandma’s homemade cinnamon rolls. When Uncle Walter unlocked the door, Ivy pointed to his small yard. “Hey, Uncle Walter, what happened to your lawn creatures?” Uncle Walter ran his fingers through his brown hair with a hint of silver showing on the sides. “What’d you mean?” “They’re gone.” “Gone?” Uncle Walter stepped outside and looked around.
