Georgiana stood in her quiet kitchen, the clock ticking softly in the background. It was 3 AM, and she felt utterly alone in her house. Her best friend was sleeping peacefully on the balcony, unaware of the chill creeping into Georgiana's heart. Suddenly, her phone rang, shattering the silence. She quickly moved toward it, her heart racing with anticipation and fear. She grabbed the phone, staring at the screen. The number was unfamiliar, but something about it felt wrong. “Who could be calling at this hour?” she thought, unease settling deep in her bones. She hesitated, unsure if she should answer, but curiosity won. She pressed the green button and held the phone to her ear. “Hello?” she said, her voice shaky. Silence answered her.
