AT THE PACKHOUSE
"You can leave now, lady. The alpha must not meet you here. We already have enough ladies here for the same reason at the moment," the impatient guard said to the young lady who was trying to force her way into the packhouse.
The lady was not deterred by the hostility of the guards but persisted in her quest to be allowed to present herself to Alpha Xavier. "No, you must believe me. I am telling the truth. I am the one, and the alpha must see me," she insisted.
The lady was Sheila, Samantha’s friend, and she had come to the packhouse to seek refuge. She is insisting on meeting with the alpha on the pretense that she is the chosen one with the green pearl. She was hoping to obtain the position of the luna of the great Twin Spark Island through a disguise.
