Emily left the office and made her way to the bus stop to get a taxi to take her to the north side of the city. Earlier in the day, she had received a text message from Samantha demanding to meet with her at the Hot Sticks restaurant located on the north side of the city after the close of work.
When she got to the bus stop, there were no taxis in sight. It is the rush hour of the day, and getting a taxi might be a little difficult, if not impossible. However, Emily knew that she must honour her date with Samantha if she wants to keep out of trouble at least in the meantime.
