Elizabeth’s POV.
After the Alpha had asked me to go inside my room, I decided to obey him.
How he had forgiven me so easily was beyond me but I didn’t care to linger, ask questions or even dare to imagine why he hadn’t punished me.
I took myself as quickly as I could to my bed and jumped right in. In a matter of seconds, I dozed off and found myself slowly awaking the next morning.
There were remnants of a dream I couldn’t even recall in my eyes but it was fast fading and my consciousness was taking over quite fast.
My eyelids opened. My eyelashes fluttered and my vision was slowly recovering, introducing me back to my reality. I was alone now.
No family, no mate who loved me like Connor and now, to top it all, no friend.
I sighed, rolling over to her side of the bed, expecting the
