I couldn't believe my ears as the Alpha stood in my room, a gentle smile on his face. "Get ready, Elizabeth. We'll be getting married soon."

My heart soared, and I couldn't contain my happiness but I held myself. I had to not seem so excited until he left but as soon as the door closed behind his departure, I jumped from my bed.
“Did you hear that?” I screamed, wiggling my waist as I moved around the room. Rose looked at me a little surprised, she had barely seen me in this mood. She was not fully accustomed to it.
The maids were still cleaning my room when the alpha came in so they heard everything he had to say. They cramped up at the corner, whispering a bit. I could hear them but for that moment, I didn't care.
