Sandra's POV My entire body trembled inside as I watched the alpha leaving his mother's room. I knew what was coming and I knew what she would say. “Sandra!” she called, her smile was bright and innocent until the door closed behind him. “Yes, mother.” I greeted, my voice quiet and gentle, “I'm sorry.” I apologized even before she got the chance to say another word to me but it didn't matter. Her bright smile turned to a menacing frown. She relaxed those uplifting happy eyes and narrowed her gaze at me. I swallowed hard, I knew I was in trouble. “Luna. I didn't share anything with him. It was just that I was thinking—- "Kneel down, Sandra," she hissed, her voice cold and venomous. Her eyes had looked away, searching through the pile of what sat beside her. I obeyed without delay.
