Chapter 5 THE death of SERENE

Alexander woke up and saw himself naked. He saw a female lady next to him naked. He taught her it was serene. He kissed her on the check and tapped her arms, trying to wake her. Finally, she rowed her face towards him. He found out it was Alex, and he quickly jumped off the bed.

What are you doing here? How did you get here? You asked me to come in, and then you told me you loved me. That is not true; you know I can’t say that. That is the influence of alcohol; why will you believe that?

You forced me in bed and made love to me; that cannot be true. I just told you the truth: Oh no, how can I be so stupid to sleep with my Luna junior sister? Don’t worry, I will keep our secret safe. I promise you that.

He rushed to dress himself up and tried to leave. Alex held his hand and looked at her. You were so good in bed. He hissed and left. Alex felt on top of the world. Alexander rushed to his room to check on Luna, who was as fast as sleep. He felt relieved, gave her a kiss, and covered her body with the bed cover. He joined her to sleep.

Four months later, serene was feeling sick. Alexander was so scared, he called the doctor. When the doctor arrived, he quickly opened the door to his room. The doctor saw Serene on the bed, did some checks on her, and confirmed she was pregnant. He turned to Alexander. Sir, your wife here is pregnant. Finally, he screamed, Babe, we are expecting a child. He rushed to kiss Luna. I told you not to give up.

I know you will sure give me a child. I am really happy. He ran outside to tell his maid to prepare a big meal; he was about to have a big party. And other of his guards invited his friends to a big party to celebrate his second child; everyone was happy except Alex, who was very angry.

She couldn’t believe what she had; she wanted to confront Alexander as she walked towards him, but unfortunately, a hand held her back. As she looked back, she saw the bate wolf, Charles, who dragged her to a very dark corner.

What are you about to do? I want to confront the alpha in front of his Luna and some other wolf packs about what I want to tell him. I am also having his child. Are you insane? I and you know that the alpha is not the father of your child. Okay, if you tell him that, you think he will automatically accept you as his Luna. Okay, I'll leave, but not before I put this poison in her drink.

Alex went straight to the maid. I want you to put this poison inside the Luna drink. Ma, please, I can’t do this. You must be joking. If you fail to do this, I will tell the alpha that you are the cause of the death of his son. No, ma, please don’t tell the alpha. So do what I ask you to do. Ok, ma, she left.

After some hours, the alpha friends had turned up for his second child party. Alexander stood up to address the people. Thank you all for coming. I want to use this medium to appreciate you all for honoring my invitation. After the death of my first child, I and Luna have been struggling to forget the incident, but we are now fine, as we expect our second child.

The wolf packs all shouted in joy as they celebrated the alpha and Luna's second child, who was on his way. Want to make a toss? More happiness to come and more victories will be our cheers. The alpha and Luna drank their wine as they sat down to dinner together.

After they ate their meals, they all stood to dance. Alexander held his Luna hands as they both danced together. As they were dancing, all of a sudden, Luna fell to the ground, and Alexander went on his knees to check on her. He noticed she was not breathing well, and he asked the guards to call the doctor.

The beta wolf, Charles, had already gone to the doctor. I want you not to tell the alpha the cause of the death of his Luna, sir. I can’t keep doing this. I am tired of lying to the alpha about the wicked plan you and Alex are doing. Do you want me to kill your family? No, sir, please don’t kill my family. Then do what I ask you to do. Ok, this will be the last time I do this for you again. No problem.

I will take my leave. Charles left the doctor's place after some minutes. He got a call that the alpha wanted to see him. He quickly rushed to the alpha places. When he got there, he saw Luna lying down. He went close to her body to check if she was still breathing. He turned to the alpha. Sir, your Luna is dead. Alexander screamed on top of his voice and fell to the ground.

The doctor quickly checked him and told the guards to take him to his room. He told the wolf packs that the alpha would be fine; he fainted because of the news he had. He told the guards nobody should disturb him.

Serene died with the unborn child but later woke up in another female body called Helena in another village.
