Makayla didn’t stay in the shower too long. She was afraid that the men might come back. She wanted to wash the salt water off her and she needed to get warm. The hot shower was the fastest and easiest way to accomplish both tasks. She quickly rinsed the soap from her hair and body before turning off the shower. Grabbing the towel, she dried her body before leaning over and wrapping the towel around her hair.
