You will wander this life and every other life mateless and alone,” Ba Pef’s voice rang from Derion’s mouth and the surrounding nothingness as we circled each other like lions hunting their prey.  “f**k you, Ba Pef,” I grumbled, annoyed at his constant picking. There was no way in hell that I would ever allow this faceless coward to take my mate from me. I racked my brain trying to remember everything I could about Ba Pef and how to get rid of him, but I kept coming up short.  Ba Pef is older than almost all of us and hardly anyone knows anything about him, so how am I supposed to get rid of him if he inhabits someone else?
