Chapter 4 I drop the phone again. It bounces on the bed and vanishes in a fold of the comforter. Part of me wants to grab it and demand answers. Part of me wants to hang up and pretend the last half-hour never happened. From within the down comes Arianna’s muffled voice. I search out the phone, fingers snaking through the covers.
