I opened the door to my room for Carlton who was nice enough to help and bring the bunch of shopping bags up to my room. Although I can just call some of our maids to do that for me, Carlton clearly insisted that he wanted to do it, so I just let him be.
During our remaining time in the Chinese restaurant, I tried my best not to think of other things and focus on him. I was so scared that he might’ve notice that I was distracted and got offended by that.
I did my best not to think of other things and push away the dominating thoughts of Aiden to focus on Carlton. And I succeeded in that matter, I think?
