Kory's pov: It's been three days since Kory found Gabby, his older sister's orphan. She reminds him so much of her mother, even sounding just like her when they were growing up. Kory's heart aches that his mother couldn't meet Gabby, but he feels like a part of her stayed back on Earth to cling to the soul of her child. When Gabby looks up at him with her big brown eyes, he can't resist her and would give her anything she wants. Kory loves Gabby so much that he can't imagine his life without her.
