Introductions and Formalitiies

Esther's Point of view.

Ding Dong

I heard the door bell over and over and it made my head ache over and over.

I opened my eyes and i was still tired and half awake, I didn't want to relive the whole day. I had a beautiful morning, only for it to be ruined by the old lady.

I couldn't wait for Lisa to get back, I needed her around, I stood up to at least stop that excruciating door bell sound.

I went to open the door and I saw him. The elevator guy.

"Hi, my name is Alex, and yours is Esther. Let this be our official Meetup".He said and I was utterly confused. It seemed like i was in a movie scene, that had it episode to be continued the following week, pardon me I watched to many series and drama that it seemed unreal and funny.

i stared at him for two minutes before opening the door.

"I am sorry, i am confused, i know we met at the elevator and my life isn't a romantic comedy or a book that is being written by an author somewhere. So, it is actually funny if you think about it, the universe is probably playing tricks on me and well, i had a rough morning and i wouldn't want to take it out on you" I paused to catch my breathe.

Mr Alex right? please tell me everything i need to know" I said. He smiled and giggled in the most beautiful way ever.

"Okay, okay. i will answer all your questions but if i may, can i come in? you skipped that part in your explanation" He said and i became embarrassed.

"awwn, that's cute" He said as i walked him in.

"what's cute? i asked him. "Your face, it lights up and your cheeks turn light red" As soon as he said that i became more embarrassed as I covered my cheeks immediately, he was still smiling.

"Okay for the explanation part..You were at the office today, which is very obvious and i am here to apologize for my mother's actions and i would want to plead with you that you don't press charges, But i assure i am nothing like my mother, and i am here to tell you, you can have the job of being my secretary" He said.

"Okay? I am sorry tho but how do they all interplay?" I asked as i was getting confused.

"Yes, i went for an interview today and oh, she is your mum. She was the one that yelled at me, but you didn't do anything wrong and also, i don't need an apology. So here is the big question, How did you know and what do you mean by press charges? i mean it only happened at the office, so sending you the CEO is a little too much but then you are her son so it is given.

"Uhmm, i don't think you checked your phone all day at all right?" He asked me.

"My phone? i haven't touched it all day, at least not since then why did you ask?" I replied him.

"The scene that happened between my mum and you was recorded and it got uploaded online, so that's why i am here" He said it and i became sad.

"Oh i see" i said in a sad tone,

"you are here because of what your mum did and said and not because of me or my skills or how i got insulted but instead because of the video right?

If the video was never recorded, you wouldn’t be here, but then it's a given the companies name should always be protected and to do that, you might to rehire me and in the next few months, i might get fired since the rumors will be down and the story will be forgotten, in the end i will just be one link, right? I mean i got insulted for believing in my idol and it got recorded. And the companies name is important, you didn't ask how i felt. I left home in the rain after being insulted. I had to go through faces all over me and yet all you could bring up is

"I understand you rushing over and wanting to fix everything but you didn't ask how i felt, you didn't apologize you only wanted to make sure we were on the same page and I don't press charges but i am sorry is this some movie scene or script acting? I said, I admit I did jump onto conclusions but then again I was right this is how all the rich people do, they act this way and then boom the cycle never ends.

"Okay, i am sorry for how my mother treated you and i admit my methods were not the best neither were they right, listen I am only here so you won't press charges and if you like or if you wish, you can come by the office, the post of being my secretary is available and we wouldn't want for the word to get out and ruin the companies image in any way at all. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Uhmm do you?

"What did you just say?" I said in anger as i stood up

"If I like or if I wish? Wow, you didn't ask how I was or how I felt, I know it isn't any of your business but I don't remember in the stories where the prince's are less humans or have you read them?

I think the books should be updated, these real prince's are jerks!' I asked as I folded my arms I disappointments and I stood up.

"Well, this is real life Miss Esther, Like it or not, fairy tales are for kids, so please think about the real life her and wow, I guess this is why mum said a lot, you are so lost in thoughts and not the real life, Do you think anyone would have cared if it was some other low life company? viral or not, they will let it die down and be forgotten, If you think about it and if you think about it well, I am doing a huge and I mean a huge favor by offering you a position as my secretary, not only will your social ladder change and all that, do you think any company out there will even think of hiring a girl that got viral, only my company has both the power and the right skills to make this all go away and you are here talking about prince's? Mum was right after all, you wont do anything. you will probably just cry like you do under the rain, move to a new city or the suburbs and start all over just because YOU can't do anything at all to change a situation and I bring you an opportunity like this, oh please you aren't worth it!"

He said and I was speechless and quiet and, and lost.

"Listen, I will drop my card and you can reach me for the job or if you don't, leave it. You aren't worth my time at all" He said.

He turned to the door, but Lisa was there already and she slapped him

"Lisa! I yelled as he was shocked.

"Listen, my sister may be calm and collected but I am not, who gave the right to act all pompous and mighty? you came here right? you came here to allegedly fix things about the video and you DARE say all that to her? why? because she can't give you a reply or because she looks small" Lisa said folding her arms like a mum.

"Lisa, let him be' I said to her

"You, stay out of this, I don't care if he is the direct son of David or the son of the president or Zuckerberg is his father, A man who cant act right isnt a man and doesn't deserve that title!" Now leave my house!" Lisa said I anger.

I have never seen her so angry before. I have never seen her say anything so much like this, I felt relieved but boy this was another level that i have never seen before.

She slammed the door at me and hugged me.

"I am sorry i came late" She said to me.

Alex's Point Of View.

Who was that? I fumed as I got into my car, who is that? I can't let mum know I got slapped for saying all that to her, if anything I just made matter worse.
