'The child born of the blood of Taryn is blessed by the Goddess Avery as her own daughter. She will bring prosperity and luck to the kingdom' – the high priest of the Kingdom of Aedion had announced at the holy ceremony.
When the priest had declared the wording of their goddess, there were two sisters born of the blood of Taryn, Zehra, the eldest of the dukedom only 3 years old and Hella, the youngest who had just turned 1. Naturally, everyone confidently inclined to the eldest among the two, not only because she is the oldest but because of her beautiful enchanting blue eyes.
Although Zehra inherited her father's vibrant blue eyes, they looked much more than ordinary. Her eyes were the lightest shade of blue and they were decorated with beautiful white streaks, making it look Devine.
There was no doubt she was the child blessed by the Goddess Avery! The one who will bring a great name to the kingdom!
Being the centre of prophecy, at the age of 5, the king had arranged a meeting between his son and Zehra and a month later declared his interest in marrying off the two of them when they reached a majority.
And so the two of them became childhood sweethearts, rumoured to be the sweetest couple.
