It was a night when rival packs could form difficult bonds and long terms hidden forgotten secrets risked then, which being exposed. ‎Daniel the mysterious alpha of the secretive, powerful wolf clan, entered the hall dressed in a shining suit and a silver wolf-shaped mask that made his effective powerful, golden eyes shine even brighter. ‎ ‎To the unfortified eyes, Daniel look like another guest moving through the room, blending into the crowd while hiding a storm of tension below the surface. He wasn’t there for the wine he was there to hunt for answers. ‎Weeks ago his younger brother vanished near the Eastern borders, last with investigation rumors of forbidden experiments going on involving breed of different entities of wolves. ‎ ‎ The Council remained silent, all the allies packs keep mute and ignorant But Daniel knew better that someone at this club had the answers he is looking for. And tonight under the charm of the masked secrets would be revealed openly. ‎ ‎As music floated across loud in the air with a hunting classic modern, under the music tune Daniel moved gracefully through the crowd, exchanging pleasant while carefully scanning, searching and looking each faces trying to recognize them beneath their masks. It was a dangerous game, but he was ready to play. ‎ Then he saw her. ‎A woman in a deep slightly gown that trailed on the floor, behind spilling wine. Her mask was a very delicate piece shaped. She stood by the edge of the club room, her back straight, her presence can't be ignore yet she is isolated alone. ‎ ‎ Her scent smell hit, Daniel before her gaze, and did a wild roses of smokes, and something else, something ancient that staired something within him. His wolf staired was restless. ‎Daniel approached her with calculated steps, masking his curiosity with charm at once. ‎ ‎Care to dance? he asked with his voice smoothly but edged with something darker. ‎ ‎She twisted her head, she studied him and she was like. “With a stranger?” she replied with bold calmed tune. You could be anyone behind that mask, he answered. ‎ ‎A slow smile that curved her lips. Then we’re equally dangerous. "she reply." ‎They both stepped into the dance floor together at the same time, their movements seamless, As they glided across the floor, Daniel penetrate gently. ‎ ‎ You seem familiar. Have we met before? ‎Perhaps, maybe in another life entirely. She reply with hidden meaning, spinning with practiced elegance. "Or perhaps you’ve been watching me. ‎He chuckled. Should I be flattered or alarmed? ‎ ‎“That depends on your intentions.” he responded. ‎ ‎Their conversation was enlightened with a lot, like two predators circling together not sure if the other was for good or a threat. ‎Daniel’s senses aligned. She wasn’t just another guest. She was someone with secrets and possibly the key to his brother’s disappearance. ‎They stepped out of the dance as applause around the club room. The woman took a glass of crimson wine from a passing waiter and sipped it gentlely. ‎ ‎ You're Daniel, aren’t you? she finally asked. ‎ ‎His eyes narrowed. So we have met? ‎ ‎No, she said, eyes lightening beneath her mask. But your reputation gone before you. The feared Alpha of Crimson Veil. ‎ Ruthless. Calculating, Always three steps ahead. ‎And yet here I am, Daniel said. “Trying to keep up with a mystery woman in a red dress. ‎ ‎She smiled, almost sadly. “Be careful, Daniel. Some mysteries are better untold ‎ ‎Before he could respond, she turned and disappeared into the crowd, leaving only the eco of her words and her intoxicated dunked voice. ‎Daniel followed, weaving through masked figures. ‎ His instincts now fully awake. He caught a brief look of her heading towards the eastern wing a section said to be off-limits. ‎ He slipped past the guards with silent authority and followed the trail decorated with ancestral painting and thick velvet hanging over a window. ‎ ‎He found her standing before a sealed door whispering in an ancient tongue. The lock shimmered with vibration, then clicked open. ‎ ‎You’re not just a guest, ‎ ‎ Daniel said. ‎ ‎She turned slowly, Neither are you. ‎ ‎He stepped closer. Who are you? ‎ ‎She hesitated before answering. I’m Sarah. Guardian of the Moon bloodLine a lineage long thought was no longer in existence.
