Cain stayed down on one knee and waited for Mina’s tears to stop. A part of him wanted to offer some kind of comfort but he had no idea how. He was too afraid that it might frighten her even more. So he waited for her emotions to take its course, she had more than enough reason to be upset. There was another thought that came to mind but again it was something he wasn’t sure how to handle. He had every intention of getting her away from this place but what then? It wasn’t as if she would be able to just walk away from all that had happened, but that kind of support he knew he was incapable of.
