The Family

The one who always stay by your side…

“Mom, Dad? What are you guys doing here?” Sehun a bit flustered with the appearance of sudden guests.

“Why? Can't we come to our son's house?” ask Mrs Oh while push Sehun a bit to make a way into his house, come along with her is Mr Oh, Sehun's dad.

“Oh, we have beautiful woman here. Are you Sehun's new girlfriend?” Mrs Oh is so excited. Sehun just face palmed himself.

That is his mother, can be sociable with anyone in no time.

Hayoung just looks at him confusedly and smile. She bow at Mr Oh who just look at her a little bit serious, but his face showed that he was a gentle man. 

“Do you want to eat? I have made some dinner.” ask Hayoung politely. 

“Oh, really? I would like to.” Mrs Oh pulled Mr Oh hands and all of them take a seat on dining table while Hayoung serve them.

“Darling, have a seat. We eat together.” said Mrs Oh. Hayoung shook,

“It's okay Mrs Oh, I can eat later.” Mrs Oh frowned

“Have a seat young lady, there is nothing wrong with it.” Mr Oh said. Hayoung smile a bit and pull a chair beside Sehun. All of them starts eating and there is just a little talk between Mrs Oh and Hayoung. While Sehun and his dad keep silent and eating.

“So, Hayoung what is your relationship with my son?” Mrs Oh curious. Hayoung take a peak of Sehun before answering.

“We just friends, Ma'am.”

“Just call me aunty Hayoung-ah, I feel like old if you keep saying like that. Really? Just a friends? Sehun that I knew he never had a girl-friend. Only boys as his friends, like Jongin and what is your group's name? I don't remember, but there is nine guys including him. They are really good looking, Hayoung-ah.” Mrs Oh without telling exposing Sehun. 

“Mom....” Sehun bite his lips. He don't tell Hayoung yet about his private life and he worried if his mom exposed more about him.

“Why? Is it true right? You never had a girl-friend. That is why I thought Hayoung as your special friend.”

“No aunty, we just friends. Sehun oppa helped me. That is why I stayed at his apartment for a while.” Hayoung tried to clear the situation, she doesn't want Sehun's parents thought her as a mistress or gold digger. 

“Honey, are you not feeling well? You just keep quiet since we arrived here, just now you said you have something to tell Sehun.” Mrs Oh concern. 

Mr Oh keep looking Hayoung and made her a little bit uncomfortable.

“Young lady, if you don’t mind, can I take a look your necklace for a while?” asked Mr Oh. Hayoung perk a bit with a sudden request. 

“Dad, it's a bit rude to ask her personal belonging.” Sehun said.

“It's okay oppa, I don't mind at all.” Hayoung carefully open his necklace and give it to Sehun's dad.

Mr Oh caress Hayoung's necklace with his thumb before he give it back to Hayoung. Mrs Oh rub slowly Mr Oh arm, she had puzzled looks before she look at Sehun and Hayoung also with a confused face.

“I knew it.” Mr Oh speak after a few minutes in silent.

“What it is that you know, honey? Don't make me scared like that.”

“Do you remember my friends, Oh Seowon and Kang Hannah?”

“Of course I'm remember! They are a good friends of yours, they have a daughter named Ha—..” Mrs Oh gasped.

“Don't tell me....” Mrs Oh looking at Hayoung with her tears eyes. 

“Do you know my parents, uncle and aunty?” Hayoung looking at them.

“More than that...” Mr Oh looks down as he will crying anytime. 

“Please tell me everything that you know.” Hayoung's voice cracks as she also will cry. 

“Your parents and I was a good friends since school. Seowon and I was like the twins.

Despite our surname is same, even our physical is same. It is like a fate.” Mr Oh chuckles a little. 

“Yes, when I met Seowon oppa for the first time, I thought he was his twins.” Mrs Oh agreed.

Hayoung eyed Mr Oh, she could agrees her father will look alike Mr Oh, they quite a same. Mr Oh continue,

“Seowon is a quite mischievous. He loves to pull a prank and played a games. Almost every day after class we went to arcade because of him. That is why I'm quite shocked when he said he liked Hannah, just you knew, Hannah was totally opposite to him, just like us.”

 He referring to Mrs Oh and him. But, like people said, opposite does attracts.

“I thought them just being couple and didn't last long. But, I'm wrong, they quite serious until we graduated and Seowon even purposed Hannah after some quite times.”

“That necklace, I never forget because I tag along with him to brought, we even spent 2 hours to pick that necklace.”

“Sorry to say, but I don't remember that you guys being my parents good friends.” Hayoung sniffed. She felt weird when someone told her about her parents.

“It is because the last time we met, you just a child. For sure you don't remember. But, it all started from there.” Mr Oh took a handkerchief from his pocket and wipe his eyes. It must be difficult for him too. 

“What happen back then?” Hayoung start to cry. She feels something bad Mr Oh is going to tell her.

 Sehun pats slowly Hayoung's back to calm her. He knows it must be quite tough for her to head all of this.

“When Seowon made a decision to courted Hannah, it already get a great opposition from your grandparents. Forget to mention, your father come from a fine family and Hannah is an orphan, she got enter our school because she is so clever and also because of scholarship.”

“That is the reason why your grandparents did not like Hannah. They assumed as first, they are not last longer, just I like thought before but after some times, they started to worried if your father really fallen into your mother. So, they even set up a blind date for him.”

“Sometimes, he will made me replaced him because we are almost the same. But, thanked to him also one of the women, I found your mother, Sehun-ah.”

There is a tension in the living room. Hayoung's brain still process what Mr Oh had been told her. 

“Are you okay sweetheart? If not, I'll not continue.” Mr Oh looking at him with his sad eyes. Hayoung feel pathetic to herself. Mr Oh really made her miss her father so much. 

“No, I'm okay. I want to know the truth.” replied Hayoung.

"Seowon took a few years to convince his parents to accept your mother, but it never works. Your grandparents was so stubborn. That is why they are married a bit late even though they are in a relationship since school. Which is we got married first and we got Sehun and his sister, Yoona.”

“When Seowon decided to marry Hannah, your grandparents felt so angry. Until they threw Seowon out from house and never claimed his as their son.” Mr Oh remind back what happens.

Seowon knew these kind of things will happen, so he already prepared as well.

“With his savings, he started to make a business, it was a games company. Surprisingly, It worked so well. After that, I took my family to New Zealand because to manage one of our branch there, we still keep in touch even though we're busy. I still keep the photos your father send to me because it so precious.”

“One day, I heard your father get into an accident. I tried to come back as fast as I can, but unfortunately my plane got delayed and when I come, your father already got buried, I never seen him at his last death.” Mr Oh got so emotional until they can see his fist shaking. Mrs Oh calm his down.

“After that I looking for both of you, but I couldn't. I even hired private investigator. They said after you father death, your grandparents met your mother and blame your father died as her fault. Maybe it was a reason both of you disappeared.”“About the company, I bought it because I don't want my friend effort was burned like that. I already passed it to Sehun, you can ask him.” Sehun clear his throat.

“My dad said the company was belong to his friend, but he never told the whole story. But I'm not into a games business, so I hired someone that I knew to handle the company, if you didn't mind, we can meet him later or you can take your company back.” Hayoung nods.

“Thank you uncle and Sehun oppa, I really appreciated it.” Mr Oh shook his head

“No, don't thanked me. I'm happy to help your family.”

“Then, what happen to my grandparents? Do they still alive?”

“No, they already died when a few years back. They met me several times begging me searching for your mother and you. As time flies, they began to regret and want to meet both of you, but it just you guys are vanished, we can't keep you on track. ““Until now, I saw you. You are just like in the photos your father give me, you don't changed too much. I don't even surely but when I saw that necklace, I knew it. Also, your grandparents inherited all their wealth to you, if you free you come to my office and see my lawyer.”

“It's getting late, we should heading back to home right now.” Mrs Oh said and get up from his seat. Sehun and Hayoung follow behind them until the main door.

“Uncle, can I ask you something?”

“What is it dear, tell me. I'll try to fullfil your wish.”

“Can I hug you?” Hayoung ask while twirled her fingers. Mr Oh smile and open his arms.

They hugging like father and daughter. Sehun looks at Hayoung with happy eyes,

‘…..his childhood friend.’ He thought

The people you shared your laugh and cry…

After Sehun parents left, they still in silent. It for sure a long night. Hayoung going to the kitchen to clean up the mess, then Sehun hold her wrist,

“It's okay Hayoung, you can rest. I can do this.” Hayoung didn't say anything. She really needs a rest after what happen. She wash her face and get ready to sleep.

As soon as she lay on bed, she drift to sleep. Sehun already finished wash the dishes, he checks the door and change the lamp to sleep mode then go to his room.

Hayoung open her eyes when the light of sun slowly enter her room. She look at her phone and already shows 9 a.m. 

“Sehun oppa must already went to work.” Hayoung thought.

She get up from bed and took a shower. As she thought Sehun is not at home and going home late at night, Hayoung wear shorts and tank top. It more comfortable and she wrap her wet hairs with small towel.

Sehun keep changing channels on television. He doesn't know what to do and not in mood to do any works, and he even don't go to office today.

Then, he heard a click. He turns his head and found Hayoung only with her shorts and tank top.

Hayoung flustered when she saw Sehun in the living room watching television. Sehun clear his throat, 

“Get dress, we going out in half an hour.”Sehun keep his poker face, but the reality his heartbeat was going fast. Her body was so beautiful, he get to see her curves, her long legs and her assets is so nice.

Sehun shakes his head, trying to get out the image out, he even thinks he sounds like a p*****t now. He enter his room to get ready also. 

Hayoung starts with touch up her face with a light makeup, a pink lip gloss and a little bit of blusher to her white skin. She open her closet, wondering what clothes to wear.

A past few days, after had a lunch with Jongin, Sehun took her to shopping mall. So, today she choose light blue jeans with white laces at the end and white top with off shoulder, a bit short revealing her belly button.

She curled her hairs a bit and let it down. She finished with a wedges and beige round slings bag.

 When she out of room, she saw Sehun already waited for her at the couch.

He looks handsome with dark blue jacket and jeans and grey shirt inside.

Sehun looks a bit different from his usual attire, usually formal like suits.“Let's go.” Once they sit in the car, things was so awkward because of what happen just now. 

“I'll bring you to the person who handle your father's company, Are you okay with that?” Sehun trying to remove the awkwardness.

“Don't worry, he is very nice. Just a little bit crazy (cheerful).” Hayoung just smile listening to Sehun comment.

Once arrived at the building, they step in and every staff there bow at him because as they thought Sehun still their boss even though other person handling the company.

As they entered the main office, they heard a loud shout, Sehun smirks, already knew where the person is.

Sehun open the door and they saw one man so engrossed playing the games without notice their presence. Sehun tap his shoulder, the man turn his back, 

“Sehun-ah, you're here.” 

“Heechul hyung, here I want to introduce you to someone.” Sehun pull Hayoung's arm. Heechul smile cheekily.

“Your new girlfriend?” Heechul grins. Sehun keep his poker face. 

“No, she is the real owner.” Heechul eyes Hayoung before he smile widely.

Heechul pulled Hayoung sit on the chair he sat before and give her another keyboard and mouse to use.

“You look like someone who playing games a lot, should we have a match?”

 Hayoung's puzzled with the sudden request and he even didn't care. She look at Sehun as his face showing,

  'I told you, he's crazy'.

Hayoung grab the mouse and looking at Heechul.

“Okay, let fight.”The games result already knows, Heechul wins. As expected from game mania. 

“You are not bad, I'm starting to like you.” Hayoung smile

“When I was a child, I always play games with my father.” Heechul turn into Sehun

“Don't you go to work today? It weird see you here, you are a workaholic person.” Heechul said and eyeing Sehun who sat on the couch while reading a magazine. 

“Nope, I'm on my leave today.” Heechul laugh,

“Wow, it's been a long time a person named Sehun took a day off. You should be honoured Hayoung-ah. He spend his day off with you.” Sehun just ignore Heechul, he knew if he reacts to his joke he will tease him more. 

“So Hayoung, you already decide if you want take over this company?” Sehun ask Hayoung who keep watching the entire office.

“I don't know, beside I don't have any knowledge about business. It will going be disaster if I take over this company now.” Hayoung sighing,

“Don't worry Hayoung-ah, you can ask me anything regarding this company, besides Sehun can teach you about business, I think he more than glad to help.” Heechul winks to Hayoung.

After bid a goodbye to Heechul, they are heading to somewhere else.

“Where are we going to?” Hayoung looking at Sehun who driving calmly. 

“I want to buy a new tie and some clothes. Usually Mrs Jung bought it for me since she knew my taste. But today I'm off, so think I'll buy it by myself.”

They keep walking until they reach at the shop Sehun always purchased. Sehun starts to shop, he choosing the tie without any emotion shown on his face.

Hayoung chuckles, Sehun getting serious without any reason. Then she saw Sehun struggling with it. She get up and walk toward him.

“Want a help?”

Sehun eyes meet her. Hayoung hands moving around the tie, Sehun feel ticklish on his chest, but he not bulging.

His eyes start examines Hayoung face. Starting from her forehead, her long eyelashes, not sure what her eyes colour but he think it was brown, her nose and lastly her pink lips. Make him want to taste it, he feel hot suddenly. 

“Done!” Hayoung snap Sehun imagination about her. Hayoung look at his eyes who been staring at her for a few minutes.

“What's wrong? Is there something on my face?” Sehun clear his throat, looking for an excuse. Suddenly, his phone was ringing. God saves his life.

 Sehun broke his eyes contact with Hayoung. She just confuse with Sehun sudden weird behaviour. Then, just shrug her shoulder and make a tour around the shop. Sehun turns his back, he exhaled a relief breath. He feels sweating and hot for no reason. He shouldn't do that at the first place, he thought.

He looking at the caller name. He took a deep breath, because he knew if this person call him, something that he dislike going to happen. 

“Hello...” that person voice heard

“What do you want, Chanyeol hyung?”

“Someone looks grumpy today...” he laugh. Sehun rolling his eyes

“Why you called me?” 

“Where are you? I called your office, your secretary said you had a day off today.” Sehun gestures his hand calling for the staff to packing his clothes.

“I'm out...” he replied shortly

“Good! Buy us some fried chicken and pizza. We are hungry.” Chanyeol said shamelessly.

“How you guys knew my password”" Sehun didn't have to ask, if Chanyeol said ‘us’ means all his ‘brothers’ are there. 

“Your house is our house.” Chanyeol giggles. Sehun already heard some noise behind.

He must back to his house as soon as possible, if not it will be disaster. He hang up the phone and paying for the stuff. 

“What is it?” Hayoung ask while looking at Sehun irritated face.

“We are going back, now!” Once they enter the car, Sehun order a delivery for his wolf brothers.

“My brothers already at my house.”

“I thought you only had sister.”

“Not my real brothers, you remember the group my mom mentioned before? That guys” said Sehun while caressing his hairs back. 

Hayoung blushed at that moment. At that time, she feel like drooling over his handsome face. Suddenly, reality hit her.

He not even once mention about her stayed at his house. She expected he will make her out of there.

“Oppa, do you okay with me staying at your house?’ Sehun take a glimpse on her,

“Why? Do you want to get out?” Hayoung shook

“It's not like that, I don't want to trouble you. But I don't even had stable financial to buy a new house, after things happen so fast.”

“So, it's done. Just stay where you are now. After you are ready, you can make your own decision" Hayoung smile and relief because of Sehun's consideration

“Thank you oppa, I owed you a lot.” 

“Don't mention it, I'm glad I helped a family of my father's friend beside you still my childhood friend even though both of us doesn't remember it.”

 Hayoung nods before she looks at outside view. The weather surely very nice and she so happy today.

It's been a long time since she spent time leisurely like this.

Even it was in a short time, but sure she had fun. Met Heechul which is a little bit ‘crazy’ and now she looking forward to Sehun’s ‘brothers’. She curious what kind of people she going to meet soon.
