The days of Alpha Harrison's stay in our pack had passed in a haze of fear and submission for me. Every day, I bore the physical and emotional scars of the whipping I had endured, a constant reminder of my place in the hierarchy of our pack. I had resigned myself to my fate as a servant, a mere pawn in the power games of those around me. One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the palace grounds, I was going about my usual tasks. The rest of the pack members were preparing for a celebratory feast in honor of Alpha Harrison's upcoming honorary. It was to be a grand affair, and everyone was in high spirits. I moved silently through the palace, performing my duties with a practiced efficiency. I had become skilled at blending into the background, making myself as inconspicuous as possible. But that evening, as I passed by a dimly lit corridor, Alpha Harrison's deep voice called out to me. "Leah," he said, his tone low and sultry. I froze, my heart racing. Alpha Harrison had never paid me much attention before, and I had always been careful to avoid him. But now, he beckoned me into the shadows. I stepped into the corridor, my heart pounding in my chest. Alpha Harrison's tall and imposing figure loomed before me, and the flickering candlelight played across his chiseled features. "You're a pretty little thing, aren't you?" he said, his voice dripping with arrogance. I swallowed hard, my mouth dry. "Alpha Harrison, I'm just a servant. I shouldn't be here." He chuckled, a sound that sent a shiver down my spine. "Oh, but you're here now, aren't you?" Before I could react, he pulled me into his embrace, his lips crashing down on mine. I was overwhelmed by a mix of fear and confusion, but a part of me was too terrified to resist. The encounter was brief but intense, a whirlwind of passion and desperation. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, it was over. Alpha Harrison released me, his expression unreadable. He was the first mab I was laying with "You may go," he said, his voice cold and dismissive. I stumbled back, my heart in turmoil. I had been used, discarded like trash. The realization hit me like a blow to the chest, and I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. "Alpha Harrison, please," I whispered, my voice trembling. "I didn't ask for this. I didn't want..." He cut me off with a wave of his hand, his gaze cold and unfeeling. "You're nothing but a servant, Leah. Don't forget your place,Dress up and leave!!!" I turned and fled, my footsteps echoing in the empty corridor. As I reached my chamber, I sank to the floor, tears streaming down my face. I felt violated and humiliated, a pawn in a cruel and heartless game. The next morning, Alpha Harrison departed our pack without a second glance in my direction. The pack members celebrated his departure, unaware of the secret I carried. I was left with a heavy heart and a profound sense of shame, knowing that I had been used and discarded by the very person who should have protected me. In the days that followed, I withdrew further into the shadows, the memory of that one night stand haunting my every waking moment. I had been treated like trash, a disposable plaything in Alpha Harrison's eyes. It was a painful reminder of the harsh reality of my existence, one that I couldn't escape no matter how hard I tried. The days following my encounter with Alpha Harrison were filled with a sense of dread and despair. My body grew weaker, and I often found myself plagued by waves of nausea. The realization that I might be pregnant weighed heavily on my mind, but I dared not speak of it to anyone, especially not my cruel stepmother or my indifferent father. One fateful morning, as I struggled to keep down a meager breakfast, my stepmother's sharp voice cut through the air like a knife. "Leah, you look positively dreadful. What's the matter with you?" I lowered my gaze, unable to meet her eyes. "I...I don't feel well," I mumbled, my voice trembling. My stepmother's eyes narrowed, suspicion in her gaze. "Is this some ploy to avoid your chores? Get up, girl, and stop pretending." But as I attempted to rise from my seat, dizziness overcame me, and I collapsed to the floor. My stepmother's anger turned to concern, and she called for help. The pack healer was summoned, and I was taken to the local inn, where the healer could examine me in privacy. I lay on the inn's small bed, my body feeling weaker than ever. The healer, a middle-aged woman with kind eyes, examined me with a mixture of curiosity and concern. After a series of tests and questions, the healer's expression grew somber. "Leah," she said gently, "you're not just sick. You're pregnant." I felt my heart sink like a stone in my chest. Pregnant. The word echoed in my mind, a harsh reminder of the consequences of that one night with Alpha Harrison. I had no idea what to do, how to face the judgment and scorn of my family and pack. The news of my pregnancy spread quickly through the pack, and it wasn't long before my stepmother arrived at the inn, her face twisted with anger. "You wretched girl," she hissed, her voice barely containing her fury. "You've disgraced our family." My father stood beside her, his expression a mask of disappointment. "Leah, you've brought shame upon us all." I couldn't meet their gaze, couldn't bear to see the disgust in their eyes. I knew that their anger was justified, but it didn't lessen the pain of their rejection. We returned to the palace, where a crowd had gathered in the square. News of my pregnancy had spread like wildfire, and the pack members had come to witness the spectacle of my humiliation. My stepsisters, Ana and Isabella, were among the crowd, their faces twisted in sneers of contempt. They called me names and hurled insults, reveling in my misery. "Pathetic," Ana spat. "You're nothing but a disgrace." Isabella chimed in, her voice dripping with malice. "You'll never find a mate now. Who would want you?" I kept my head bowed, tears streaming down my face, unable to defend myself against their cruel words. My father, torn between his duty as the pack leader and his role as my parent, seemed at a loss for words. But my stepmother, never one to pass up an opportunity for cruelty, stepped forward. "Pack members!" she called out, her voice carrying over the square. "Behold the shame that Leah has brought upon our family. She is pregnant, and the father of her child is unknown." The crowd murmured in disapproval, and my cheeks burned with embarrassment. My stepmother continued, her voice filled with malice. "But fear not, for we shall find the father and make him pay for his indiscretion by taking this trash away" I felt a sharp sting on my cheek as my father slapped me, his disappointment and anger evident in his eyes. "You will reveal the name of the father, Leah. This is your chance to make amends." I shook my head, my voice barely above a whisper. "I can't..." As the beating intensified, my body wracked with pain, I heard a voice from behind me, strong and commanding. "The baby is mine." I turned, my eyes widening in shock. It was Alpha Harrison, standing tall and unapologetic, his presence commanding the attention of the entire square. My stepmother's face paled, her arrogance crumbling in an instant. "Alpha Harrison, this...this can't be true." Alpha Harrison stepped forward, his gaze locked onto mine. "It is true. I am the father of Leah's child." The crowd fell into stunned silence, the weight of his words hanging in the air. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, couldn't fathom why Alpha Harrison would come forward to claim responsibility for our secret. " She has my baby and I'm taking her with me"
